The Flood
Then the LORD said to Noah, “Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this time.
Then the LORD said to Noah, “Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this time.
Возьми семь пар от каждого вида чистых животных (по семь особей мужского и по семь особей женского пола) и по одной паре от всех остальных видов животных на земле (по одной особи мужского и по одной особи женского пола) и возьми их с собой в лодку.
“You shall take with you of every clean animal by sevens, a male and his female; and of the animals that are not clean two, a male and his female;
Возьми семь пар от каждого вида птиц (по семь особей мужского пола и по семь особей женского пола), чтобы все эти животные продолжали жить на земле после того, как все остальные животные будут уничтожены.
also of the birds of the sky, by sevens, male and female, to keep offspring alive on the face of all the earth.

“For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will blot out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made.”

Noah did according to all that the LORD had commanded him.
В то время, когда начались ливни, Ною было 600 лет.
Now Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of water came upon the earth.
Вместе со своей семьёй он сел в лодку, чтобы спастись от потопа. С Ноем в лодке были его жена, сыновья и жёны сыновей.
Then Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him entered the ark because of the water of the flood.
Все чистые животные, и все остальные животные, и все птицы, и всё, ползающее по земле,
Of clean animals and animals that are not clean and birds and everything that creeps on the ground,
вошли в лодку вместе с ним. Они вошли в лодку по паре: особь мужского пола и особь женского пола, как Бог и повелел Ною.
there went into the ark to Noah by twos, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.
Семь дней спустя начался потоп, и на землю полился дождь.
It came about after the seven days, that the water of the flood came upon the earth.
В то время Ною было 600 лет. На семнадцатый день второго месяца вскрылись все подземные ручьи. В тот же самый день небеса разверзлись, и на землю обрушились сильнейшие ливни.
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened.
Дождь лился на землю сорок дней и сорок ночей.
The rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights.
В тот же самый день Ной со своей женой, сыновьями, Симом, Хамом и Иафетом, и их женами сел в лодку.
On the very same day Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark,
В лодке были все эти люди, всякого рода земные животные и всякого рода скот, всякого рода пресмыкающиеся и всякого рода птицы.
they and every beast after its kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, all sorts of birds.
Все эти животные вошли в лодку вместе с Ноем, они вошли по паре от каждого вида животных, в которых было дыхание жизни.
So they went into the ark to Noah, by twos of all flesh in which was the breath of life.
Все эти животные, мужского пола и женского, вошли в лодку, как Бог повелел Ною. И тогда Господь закрыл за Ноем дверь лодки.
Those that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered as God had commanded him; and the LORD closed it behind him.
Потоп продолжался на земле 40 дней. Вода начала подниматься и подняла лодку над поверхностью земли.
Then the flood came upon the earth for forty days, and the water increased and lifted up the ark, so that it rose above the earth.
Вода продолжала подниматься, и лодка поплыла по воде высоко над землёй.
The water prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.
Вода поднялась так высоко, что под ней скрылись даже самые высокие горы,
The water prevailed more and more upon the earth, so that all the high mountains everywhere under the heavens were covered.
но она продолжала подниматься над ними и поднялась на семь метров над самой высокой горой.
The water prevailed fifteen cubits higher, and the mountains were covered.
Всё живое на земле погибло: все мужчины и все женщины, все птицы и все земные животные.
All flesh that moved on the earth perished, birds and cattle and beasts and every swarming thing that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind;
Погибли все многочисленные виды животных и всё, ползавшее по земле, погибла всякая живая дышащая тварь на суше.
of all that was on the dry land, all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.
Так Бог смёл всё с лица земли. Он уничтожил всех живых тварей на земле: всех людей, всех животных, всех пресмыкающихся и всех птиц. Всё было уничтожено на земле. В живых остались только Ной и те, кто был с ним в лодке.
Thus He blotted out every living thing that was upon the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky, and they were blotted out from the earth; and only Noah was left, together with those that were with him in the ark.
