The First Passover
And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

"Этот месяц пусть будет для вас первым месяцем года.
This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Вот наказ всей общине израильтян: десятого числа этого месяца каждый должен взять себе одного ягнёнка для своей семьи.
Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
Если семья так мала, что не сможет съесть целого ягнёнка, пусть позовут соседей и разделят с ними еду. Мяса ягнёнка хватит на всех.
And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
Этот ягнёнок должен быть совершенно здоровым годовалым животным мужского пола, барашком или козлёнком.
Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
Пусть животное остаётся у вас до четырнадцатого дня этого месяца, в тот день, как только наступят сумерки, вся израильская община должна заколоть этих животных,
And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
собрать их кровь и помазать ею косяки и перекладины дверей в тех домах, где будут есть эту еду.
And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
В ту ночь вы должны зажарить ягнёнка и съесть всё мясо, должны съесть его с горькими травами и пресным хлебом.
And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Не варите ягнёнка в воде, а зажарьте целиком на огне вместе с головой, ногами и со всеми внутренностями.
Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
В эту ночь вы должны съесть всё мясо, а если что-то останется до утра, то сожгите это мясо на огне.
And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
Когда будете есть мясо, вы должны быть полностью одеты, как будто собрались в дорогу: на вас должна быть обувь, в руке — дорожный посох, и есть вы должны второпях, ибо это будет Пасха Господняя.
And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover.
Сегодня ночью Я пройду по Египту и убью всех первенцев, людей и животных, и произведу суд над всеми богами Египта. Я — Господь.
For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
Кровь же на ваших домах будет для Меня особым знаком: увидев кровь, Я обойду ваши дома стороной. Всё плохое Я причиню египетскому народу, вас же не поразит ни одна из этих страшных болезней.
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
Поэтому вы навсегда запомните сегодняшний день — это будет ваш особый праздник, этим праздником потомки ваши будут вовеки чтить Господа.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread
And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

В этот праздник вы будете семь дней есть пресный хлеб. В самый первый день уничтожьте всё квасное в своих домах, и никто не должен есть ничего квасного полных семь дней, а если кто поест квасное, вы должны отделить его от остальных.
Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
В первый и в последний день праздника будут святые собрания, в эти дни вы не должны исполнять никакую работу, единственная работа, какую вы может делать, это готовить себе еду.
And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
Вы должны помнить Праздник Пресного Хлеба, потому что в этот день Я вывел ополчениями весь ваш народ из Египта. Так вот, все ваши потомки должны помнить этот день. Это — закон, который сохранится навечно.
And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
Начиная с вечера 14 дня первого месяца вы будете есть пресный хлеб, и это будет продолжаться до вечера 21 дня месяца.
In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
В течение семи дней в ваших домах не должно быть ничего квасного. Всякий, кто в это время будет есть квасное, будь то чужеземец или житель Израиля, должен быть отделён от других израильтян.
Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
В этот праздник вы не должны есть квасное, а должны есть пресный хлеб, где бы вы ни были".
Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.
Моисей созвал старейшин и сказал им: "Возьмите по ягнёнку для своих семейств и заколите ягнят на Пасху.
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
Возьмите также пучки иссопа, окуните их в чаши с кровью и помажьте кровью косяки и перекладины дверей. Никто не должен выходить из дому до утра.
And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
Когда Господь пройдёт по Египту, убивая первенцев, Он увидит кровь на косяках и перекладинах дверей и защитит тот дом, не допустит, чтобы губитель вошёл в ваши дома и повредил вам.
For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
Вы должны помнить этот наказ, это — закон для вас и ваших потомков на века.
And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.
Не забывайте делать это, даже когда придёте в ту землю, которую Господь даёт вам.
And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
Когда ваши дети спросят вас: "Зачем мы исполняем этот обряд?",
And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
вы скажете: "Эта Пасха — в честь Господа. Почему? Потому что, когда мы были в Египте, Господь обошёл стороной дома Израиля. Господь убил египтян, но спас народ в наших домах. И теперь народ склоняется перед Господом и поклоняется Ему"".
That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
Вот что Господь повелел Моисею и Аарону, и народ Израиля исполнил наказ Господа.
And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
В полночь Господь убил всех первенцев в Египте, от сына первенца фараона, владыки Египта, до сына первенца узника, находившегося в темнице. Погиб и весь перворождённый скот.
The Tenth Plague: Death of Firstborn
And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

В ту ночь в каждом египетском доме кто-то умер, и громко рыдали фараон, и его правители, и весь народ Египта.
And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
В ту же ночь фараон призвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал: "Поднимитесь и уходите из среды моего народа, как говорили. Идите совершите служение Господу!
The Exodus Begins
And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.

Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
И все египтяне тоже просили их поскорее уйти, потому что, как сказали они: "Если вы не уйдёте, мы все умрём!"
And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.
У израильского народа не было времени даже положить закваску в хлеб, они просто завернули квашни в одежду и понесли их на плечах.
And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
Потом израильский народ сделал то, что велел Моисей: они пошли к своим соседям египтянам и стали просить у них одежду и изделия из серебра и золота.
And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
Господь сделал так, что египтяне по-доброму отнеслись к израильскому народу и отдали ему свои богатства.
And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
Израильский народ отправился из Раамсеса в Сокхоф; всего же их было около шестисот тысяч мужчин, не считая детей.
And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
У них было великое множество овец, скота и всякого другого добра. С ними шло также много разного другого народа, эти люди не были израильтянами, но ушли из Египта вместе с ними.
And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
У народа не было времени положить закваску в хлеб, но поскольку они не приготовили себе никакой особой еды на дорогу, им пришлось испечь хлеб без закваски.
And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
Народ Израиля прожил в Египте 430 лет,
Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
а через 430 лет, день в день, всё ополчение Господнее покинуло Египет.
And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
И потому эта ночь особая; ночь, когда люди вспоминают, что сделал Господь, и весь израильский народ будет помнить эту ночь во веки веков.
It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.
Господь сказал Моисею и Аарону: "Вот правила Пасхи: Никакой чужестранец не должен участвовать в пасхальной трапезе.
Instructions for the Passover
And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:

Если человек купит раба и сделает тому обрезание, то раб может участвовать в пасхальной трапезе.
But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
Если же этот человек живёт в вашей стране или его наняли работать на вас, то он не должен участвовать в пасхальной трапезе.
A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
Ешьте эту еду в одном доме, ничего из этой еды не выносите из дома и не ломайте кости ягнёнка.
In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
Вся израильская община должна исполнять этот обряд.
All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
Если с вами живёт неизраильтянин и хочет разделить с вами Пасху Господнюю, то ему следует сделать обрезание, и тогда он станет гражданином Израиля и сможет разделить с вами эту трапезу. Но если человек не обрезан, он не может есть пасхальную еду.
And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
Эти правила одинаковы для всех, будь то гражданин Израиля или неизраильтянин, живущий в вашей стране; правила одинаковы для всех".
One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
И вот весь народ Израиля повиновался наказу, данному Господом Моисею и Аарону.
Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
