    Господь сказал Моисею: "Пойди к фараону и скажи ему, так говорит Господь: "Отпусти Мой народ пойти совершить Мне служение!

    A Plague of Frogs

    aThen the LORD said to Moses, “Go back to Pharaoh and announce to him, ‘This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so they can worship me.

    Если не согласишься отпустить Мой народ, Я наполню Египет жабами.

    If you refuse to let them go, I will send a plague of frogs across your entire land.
  • 3
    Река Нил будет кишеть жабами, они выйдут из реки и войдут к тебе в дом, они будут у тебя в спальне и у тебя в постели, жабы будут в домах твоих приближенных, у тебя в печах и в кувшинах с водой.

    The Nile River will swarm with frogs. They will come up out of the river and into your palace, even into your bedroom and onto your bed! They will enter the houses of your officials and your people. They will even jump into your ovens and your kneading bowls.

    Frogs will jump on you, your people, and all your officials.’”

    Господь сказал Моисею: "Скажи Аарону, чтобы он простёр руку с дорожным посохом над каналами, реками и озёрами, и тогда жабы выйдут на землю Египетскую".

    bThen the LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Raise the staff in your hand over all the rivers, canals, and ponds of Egypt, and bring up frogs over all the land.’”

    И вот Аарон простёр руку над водами Египта, и из воды стали выходить жабы, и заполнили они всю землю Египта.

    So Aaron raised his hand over the waters of Egypt, and frogs came up and covered the whole land!

    Волшебники, прибегнув к своим чарам, сделали то же самое, и ещё больше жаб вышло на землю Египетскую.

    But the magicians were able to do the same thing with their magic. They, too, caused frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.

    Фараон призвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал: "Попросите Господа убрать жаб от меня и от моего народа, и я отпущу ваш народ пойти совершить служение Господу".

    Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and begged, “Plead with the LORD to take the frogs away from me and my people. I will let your people go, so they can offer sacrifices to the LORD.”

    Моисей ответил фараону: "Скажи мне, когда ты хочешь, чтобы эти жабы ушли? Я помолюсь за тебя, за твой народ и за твоих приближённых, и эти жабы уйдут от тебя и из твоих домов и останутся только в реке".

    “You set the time!” Moses replied. “Tell me when you want me to pray for you, your officials, and your people. Then you and your houses will be rid of the frogs. They will remain only in the Nile River.”

    "Завтра", — ответил фараон. "Будет, как ты говоришь, — сказал Моисей, — и ты удостоверишься, что нет Бога подобного Господу, Богу нашему.

    “Do it tomorrow,” Pharaoh said.
    “All right,” Moses replied, “it will be as you have said. Then you will know that there is no one like the LORD our God.

    Жабы уйдут от тебя, из твоего дома, от твоих приближённых и от твоего народа; они останутся только в реке".

    The frogs will leave you and your houses, your officials, and your people. They will remain only in the Nile River.”

    Моисей и Аарон ушли от фараона, и Моисей помолился Господу о жабах, которых Он напустил на фараона.

    So Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh’s palace, and Moses cried out to the LORD about the frogs he had inflicted on Pharaoh.

    И Господь сделал то, что просил Моисей: жабы вымерли в домах, во дворах и на полях

    And the LORD did just what Moses had predicted. The frogs in the houses, the courtyards, and the fields all died.
  • 14
    и стали гнить, и вся страна стала смердеть.

    The Egyptians piled them into great heaps, and a terrible stench filled the land.

    Фараон же, увидев, что они освободились от жаб, снова заупрямился и не сделал, о чём просили его Моисей и Аарон. Всё случилось так, как сказал Господь.

    But when Pharaoh saw that relief had come, he became stubborn.c He refused to listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had predicted.

    И сказал Господь Моисею: "Скажи Аарону, чтобы он поднял посох и ударил по пыли земной, и по всему Египту пыль превратится во вшей".

    A Plague of Gnats

    So the LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Raise your staff and strike the ground. The dust will turn into swarms of gnats throughout the land of Egypt.’”

    Так они и сделали. Аарон простёр руку с посохом и ударил по пыли земной, и по всему Египту пыль превратилась во вшей, и все животные и все люди покрылись ими.

    So Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD had commanded them. When Aaron raised his hand and struck the ground with his staff, gnats infested the entire land, covering the Egyptians and their animals. All the dust in the land of Egypt turned into gnats.

    Волшебники, прибегнув к своим чарам, попытались сделать то же самое, но не смогли сотворить из пыли вшей, и вши остались на животных и на людях,

    Pharaoh’s magicians tried to do the same thing with their secret arts, but this time they failed. And the gnats covered everyone, people and animals alike.

    и тогда волшебники сказали фараону, что Бог сделал это, но фараон не захотел их слушать. Всё случилось так, как сказал Господь.

    “This is the finger of God!” the magicians exclaimed to Pharaoh. But Pharaoh’s heart remained hard. He wouldn’t listen to them, just as the LORD had predicted.

    Господь сказал Моисею: "Завтра утром встань и пойди к фараону. Фараон пойдёт к реке, и ты скажи ему: так говорит Господь: "Отпусти Мой народ пойти совершить Мне служение!

    A Plague of Flies

    Then the LORD told Moses, “Get up early in the morning and stand in Pharaoh’s way as he goes down to the river. Say to him, ‘This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so they can worship me.

    Если не отпустишь Мой народ, то в твои дома слетятся мухи, они будут на тебе и на твоих приближённых, дома в Египте будут кишеть мухами, и вся земля будет покрыта ими.

    If you refuse, then I will send swarms of flies on you, your officials, your people, and all the houses. The Egyptian homes will be filled with flies, and the ground will be covered with them.

    Но с народом Израиля я не поступлю так, как с египтянами: в Гесеме, где живёт мой народ, мух не будет, и тогда ты узнаешь, что Я Господь в этой земле.

    But this time I will spare the region of Goshen, where my people live. No flies will be found there. Then you will know that I am the LORD and that I am present even in the heart of your land.

    Завтра я поступлю с Моим народом не так, как с твоим, это и будет Моим доказательством"".

    I will make a clear distinction betweend my people and your people. This miraculous sign will happen tomorrow.’”

    Так сделал Господь. Великое множество мух слетелось в Египет; они были в доме у фараона и в домах всех его приближённых. Мухи были по всему Египту, страна погибала от них.

    And the LORD did just as he had said. A thick swarm of flies filled Pharaoh’s palace and the houses of his officials. The whole land of Egypt was thrown into chaos by the flies.

    Тогда фараон призвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал им: "Принесите жертвы Богу вашему здесь, в этой стране".

    Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron. “All right! Go ahead and offer sacrifices to your God,” he said. “But do it here in this land.”

    Но Моисей ответил: "Мы не можем этого сделать. Египтяне считают, что приносить жертвы Господу, Богу нашему, отвратительно, и если мы это сделаем здесь, то они, увидев, забьют нас камнями.

    But Moses replied, “That wouldn’t be right. The Egyptians detest the sacrifices that we offer to the LORD our God. Look, if we offer our sacrifices here where the Egyptians can see us, they will stone us.

    Отпусти нас в пустыню на три дня пути принести жертву Господу, Богу нашему. Так велел наш Господь".

    We must take a three-day trip into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God, just as he has commanded us.”
  • 28
    Фараон сказал: "Я отпущу вас принести жертвы Господу, Богу вашему, в пустыне; только не уходите далеко. А теперь идите помолитесь за меня".

    “All right, go ahead,” Pharaoh replied. “I will let you go into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the LORD your God. But don’t go too far away. Now hurry and pray for me.”

    "Хорошо, — сказал Моисей, — я пойду попрошу Господа завтра убрать мух от тебя, твоего народа и твоих приближённых, но ты не должен больше препятствовать народу принести жертвы Господу".

    Moses answered, “As soon as I leave you, I will pray to the LORD, and tomorrow the swarms of flies will disappear from you and your officials and all your people. But I am warning you, Pharaoh, don’t lie to us again and refuse to let the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.”

    Моисей ушёл от фараона и помолился Господу,

    So Moses left Pharaoh’s palace and pleaded with the LORD to remove all the flies.

    и Господь исполнил, что просил Моисей: убрал мух от фараона, его приближённых и от его народа, так что не осталось ни одной мухи.

    And the LORD did as Moses asked and caused the swarms of flies to disappear from Pharaoh, his officials, and his people. Not a single fly remained.

    Но и на этот раз фараон заупрямился и не отпустил народ.

    But Pharaoh again became stubborn and refused to let the people go.
