    Marriage and Divorce

    Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these sayings, that He departed from Galilee and came to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan.

    And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them there.

    И пришли к Нему фарисеи и, испытывая Его, спросили: "По всякой ли причине имеет человек право разводиться с женой?"

    The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?”

    В ответ Он сказал: "Разве не читали вы, что Тот, Кто сотворил их в самом начале, "создал их мужчиной и женщиной",

    And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who [a]made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’

    и сказал: "Человек оставит отца и мать и соединится с женой, и станут двое единой плотью",

    and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?

    так что их уже не двое, а лишь одна плоть. То, что соединил Бог, никто да не разъединит".

    So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

    Тогда они спросили у Него: "Почему тогда Моисей приказал: "Выдай ей письмо о разводе и разведись с ней"?

    They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?”

    И сказал Он им: "Из-за вашей закостенелости Моисей разрешил вам разводиться с жёнами, но не так было вначале.

    He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.
  • 9
    Говорю вам, что всякий, кто разводится с женой не за прелюбодеяние и женится на другой, тот прелюбодействует".

    And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for [b]sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.”

    И сказали ему ученики: "Если обязанности мужа перед женой такие, то лучше и вовсе не жениться".

    His disciples said to Him, “If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry.”

    Но Он сказал им: "Не каждый может принять это, а только те, кому дано это было.

    Jesus Teaches on Celibacy

    But He said to them, “All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given:

    Ибо есть такие мужчины, которые родились скопцами, и другие, которых люди превратили в скопцов, а есть и такие, что сами стали скопцами ради Царства Небесного. Тот, кто может принять это, пусть принимает".

    For there are [c]eunuchs who were born thus from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it.”

    И привели к Нему детей, чтобы Он возложил на них руки и помолился, но ученики порицали тех, кто привёл детей.

    Jesus Blesses Little Children

    Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them.

    Иисус же сказал: "Пусть дети приходят, не препятствуйте им приходить ко Мне, ибо Царство Небесное принадлежит таким, как они".

    But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

    И Он возложил на них руки, а после этого ушёл оттуда.

    And He laid His hands on them and departed from there.

    Тогда некто пришёл и обратился к Иисусу с вопросом: "Учитель, какое доброе дело должен я сделать, чтобы обрести жизнь вечную?"

    Jesus Counsels the Rich Young Ruler

    Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good[d] Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?”

    Иисус сказал ему: "Почему спрашиваешь Меня о том, что такое добро? Только Он Один добр, но если хочешь обрести жизнь вечную, то соблюдай заповеди".

    So He said to him, [e]“Why do you call Me good? [f]No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

    Юноша спросил: "Какие заповеди?" Иисус сказал: "Не убивай. Не прелюбодействуй. Не кради. Не лжесвидетельствуй.

    He said to Him, “Which ones?”
    Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’

    Почитай отца и мать". "Люби ближнего своего, как самого себя"."

    ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

    На это юноша сказал Ему: "Все это я соблюдаю; чего мне ещё недостает?"

    The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept [g]from my youth. What do I still lack?”

    Иисус ответил ему: "Если хочешь достичь совершенства, пойди и продай всё, что имеешь, раздай бедным и обретёшь сокровище на небесах; тогда можешь последовать за Мной".

    Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

    Услышав эти слова, юноша ушёл опечаленный, ибо у него было большое состояние.

    But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

    И сказал Иисус Своим ученикам: "Истинно говорю: трудно богатому войти в Царство Небесное.

    With God All Things Are Possible

    Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

    И ещё скажу: легче верблюду пройти сквозь игольное ушко, чем богатому войти в Царство Небесное".
  • 24
    And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

    Когда ученики услышали это, то очень удивились и спросили: "Кто же тогда может спастись?"

    When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”

    Глядя на них, Иисус ответил: "Это для людей невозможно, но для Бога всё возможно".

    But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

    Пётр тогда сказал Ему: "Послушай, мы ведь оставили всё и последовали за Тобой, что же будет нам отпущено?"

    Then Peter answered and said to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?”

    Иисус сказал им: "Истинно говорю: в новом мире, когда Сын Человеческий воссядет на престоле славы Своей, вы, последовавшие за Мною, тоже сядете на двенадцати престолах и станете судить двенадцать племён Израилевых.

    So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

    И каждый, кто оставил во имя Моё свои дома, или братьев и сестер, или отца с матерью, или детей или своё хозяйство, обретёт в сто раз больше и унаследует жизнь вечную.

    And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother [h]or wife or children or [i]lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.

    Но многие из тех, кто были первыми, станут последними, а последние станут первыми".

    But many who are first will be last, and the last first.
