"Не судите других, и не судимы будете,

Do Not Judge

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

ибо Бог будет судить вас точно так, как вы судите других, и отмерено вам будет Богом соответственно тому, как вы отмеряете другим.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Почему ты замечаешь соринку в глазу у ближнего своего, а у себя в глазу не замечаешь бревна?

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Как можешь ты сказать собрату своему: "Дай я выну у тебя соринку из глаза", если у тебя самого в глазу бревно?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Лицемер, прежде вынь бревно у себя из глаза и тогда увидишь, как вынуть соринку из глаза своего собрата.

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Не бросайте псам ничего, что свято, не бросайте перед свиньями жемчуга вашего. Иначе свиньи затопчут его, а псы повернутся и набросятся на вас.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Просите и воздастся вам, ищите и найдёте. Стучитесь и дверь отворится перед вами.

Ask, Seek, Knock

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Кто просит, получит; кто ищет, всегда найдёт; и откроется дверь перед тем, кто стучится.

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Кто из вас даст камень сыну, если он попросил кусок хлеба?

Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

А если он попросит рыбу, то разве отец даст ему змею?

Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

Вы дурные люди, но всё равно знаете, как приносить добрые дары своим детям. Насколько же больше добрых даров Отец ваш Небесный принесёт тем, кто просит Его!"

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

12

"Поступайте с другими людьми так, как хотите, чтобы они поступали с вами. В этом и заключаются закон Моисеев и учения пророков".

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

"Войди в узкую дверь, которая открывает дорогу на небо. Я говорю тебе это, ибо широки ворота и широка дорога, ведущие к погибели, и множество людей следует по этому пути.

The Narrow Gate

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14

Но узки ворота, и тяжела дорога, ведущая к жизни, немногие находят её".

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15

"Остерегайтесь лжепророков. Они приходят к вам в овечьем обличье, а на самом деле они — свирепые волки.

A Tree and its Fruit

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16

Вы узнаете их по плодам деяний: ведь с тернистых кустов не собирают винограда и с сорняков колючих не собирают фиг.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17

Точно так же всякое хорошее дерево приносит хорошие плоды, а плохое дерево приносит плохие плоды.

17

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18

Хорошее дерево не может приносить плохие плоды, а плохое дерево не может приносить хорошие плоды.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19

Всякое дерево, которое не приносит хороших плодов, срубают и бросают в огонь;

19

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20

и потому вы распознаете их по плодам их трудов.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21

Не всякий, кто говорит, что Я его Бог, войдёт в Царство Небесное, а лишь тот, кто исполняет волю Отца Моего Небесного.

21

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22

Многие скажут Мне в тот великий день: "Господи, Господи, разве мы не пророчествовали от Твоего имени? Разве не изгоняли бесов Твоим именем и не совершили многие чудеса во имя Твое?"

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23

Тогда Я прямо объявлю им: "Я никогда не знал вас. Уйдите от Меня, беззаконники!"

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24

"И потому тот, кто слышит эти Мои слова и следует им, будет подобен разумному человеку, построившему свой дом на скале.

The House on the Rock

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25

Пошёл дождь, и вода поднялась. Дули ветры и обрушивались на этот дом, но он не рухнул, ибо в его основании была скала.

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26

А всякий, кто слышит эти слова Мои и не поступает согласно им, подобен глупцу, построившему дом на песке:

26

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27

пошёл дождь, и вода поднялась, подул ветер и обрушился на этот дом, и он рухнул с ужасным шумом".

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

28

Когда Иисус кончил говорить, народ был поражён Его учением,

The Authority of Jesus

And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

29

ибо Он учил их как имеющий власть, а не как законоучители.

29

For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
