The Leper's Prayer
And when he had come down from the mountain, great crowds followed him.

Один прокажённый пришёл, склонился перед Ним и сказал: "Господи, если Ты захочешь, то сможешь излечить меня".
And behold, a leper came up to [him] and did him homage, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou art able to cleanse me.
Иисус протянул руку, коснулся прокажённого и сказал: "Хочу. Исцелись!" И тот тотчас очистился от проказы.
And he stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, I will; be cleansed. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
И сказал ему Иисус: "Смотри, не говори никому об этом. Лучше пойди, покажись священнику, а потом принеси дар, какой повелел Моисей, чтобы доказать людям, что ты исцелился".
And Jesus says to him, See thou tell no man, but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses ordained, for a testimony to them.
Когда Иисус пришёл в Капернаум, к Нему подошёл римский центурион и попросил Его о помощи.
The Centurion's Great Faith
And when he had entered into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, beseeching him,

and saying, Lord, my servant lies paralytic in the house, suffering grievously.
И сказал Он ему тогда: "Я приду и исцелю его".
And Jesus says to him, *I* will come and heal him.
В ответ центурион сказал: "Господи, я не достоин того, чтобы Ты пришёл ко мне в дом. Ты только прикажи, и слуга мой будет исцелён.
And the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not fit that thou shouldest enter under my roof; but only speak a word, and my servant shall be healed.
Я знаю это, потому что сам нахожусь в подчинении у моего начальника, и у меня самого в подчинении солдаты. И когда я говорю одному из них: "Ступай!", то он уходит, говорю другому: "Иди сюда!", и он приходит, или говорю слуге своему: "Сделай то!", и он делает".
For *I* also am a man under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say to this [one], Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my bondman, Do this, and he does it.
Когда Иисус услышал это, Он в удивлении сказал тем, кто был с Ним: "Не встречал Я подобной веры ни у кого в Израиле.
And when Jesus heard it, he wondered, and said to those who followed, Verily I say unto you, Not even in Israel have I found so great faith.
Больше того, говорю вам, что многие придут с востока и запада и займут свои места рядом с Авраамом, Исааком и Иаковом в Царстве Небесном.
But I say unto you, that many shall come from [the] rising and setting [sun], and shall lie down at table with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens;
Исконные же подданные Царства будут ввергнуты во тьму наружную и будет там плач и скрежет зубов".
but the sons of the kingdom shall be cast out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
Иисус сказал центуриону: "Ступай! Пусть случится то, во что ты уверовал!" И в тот же миг слуга центуриона был исцелён.
And Jesus said to the centurion, Go, and as thou hast believed, be it to thee. And his servant was healed in that hour.
Когда Иисус пришёл в дом к Петру, то увидел, что тёща Петра лежит в постели вся в жару.
Jesus Heals at Peter's House
And when Jesus had come to Peter's house, he saw his mother-in-law laid down and in a fever;

Иисус коснулся её руки, и жар тут же спал. И она, тотчас же встав с постели, стала прислуживать Иисусу.
and he touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she arose and served him.
Когда наступил вечер, к Нему привели множество бесноватых, и Он изгнал злых духов словом Своим и исцелил всех больных.
And when the evening was come, they brought to him many possessed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all that were ill;
Всё это случилось во исполнение сказанного устами пророка Исаии: "И избавил Он нас от болезней и снял наши недуги".
so that that should be fulfilled which was spoken through Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases.
Когда Иисус увидел вокруг себя толпу, то велел своим ученикам перебраться на другой берег озера.
The Cost of Following Jesus
And Jesus, seeing great crowds around him, commanded to depart to the other side.

Один законоучитель подошёл к Нему и сказал: "Учитель, я последую за Тобой, куда бы Ты ни пошёл".
And a scribe came up and said to him, Teacher, I will follow thee whithersoever thou mayest go.
Иисус сказал ему: "У лис есть норы, у птиц есть гнёзда, а Сыну Человеческому негде преклонить голову".
And Jesus says to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven roosting-places; but the Son of man has not where he may lay his head.
Тогда другой ученик сказал Ему: "Господи, разреши мне сперва пойти похоронить моего отца".
But another of his disciples said to him, Lord, suffer me first to go away and bury my father.
Но Иисус сказал ему: "Следуй за Мной, и пусть мертвые сами хоронят своих мертвецов".
But Jesus said to him, Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.
Он сошёл в лодку, и Его ученики последовали за Ним.
Jesus Stills the Storm
And he went on board ship and his disciples followed him;

И вот на озере поднялась сильная буря, волны стали захлёстывать лодку. Но Он спал.
and behold, [the water] became very agitated on the sea, so that the ship was covered by the waves; but *he* slept.
Тогда ученики подошли и разбудили Его. Они сказали: "Господи, спаси нас!
And the disciples came and awoke him, saying, Lord save: we perish.
Наша смерть близка!" А Он сказал им: "Чего боитесь вы, маловерные?" Потом Он встал и приказал ветру и волнам, и наступила великая тишина.
And he says to them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then, having arisen, he rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
Люди изумились, говоря: "Кто же Он, если даже ветер и воды послушны Ему!"
But the men were astonished, saying, What sort [of man] is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?
Когда Иисус прибыл в Гергесинскую страну, к Нему навстречу вышли из погребальных пещер два одержимых бесами. Они были такие буйные, что никто не осмеливался проходить той дорогой.
Demons Cast into Pigs
And there met him, when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, two possessed by demons, coming out of the tombs, exceeding dangerous, so that no one was able to pass by that way.

Они кричали: "Что нужно Тебе от нас, Сын Божий? Ты явился сюда, чтобы мучить нас ещё до назначенного времени?"
And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Son of God? hast thou come here before the time to torment us?
Вдали паслось большое стадо свиней.
Now there was, a great way off from them, a herd of many swine feeding;
И бесы стали умолять Иисуса: "Если уж Ты изгонишь нас из этих людей, то всели нас в стадо свиней".
and the demons besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, send us away into the herd of swine.
И Он сказал им: "Уходите!" Тогда они вышли из этих людей и вселились в свиней. И тут же всё стадо бросилось с крутого берега прямо в озеро, и все свиньи утонули.
And he said to them, Go. And they, going out, departed into the herd of swine; and lo, the whole herd [of swine] rushed down the steep slope into the sea, and died in the waters.
Свинопасы же убежали. Они пошли в город и рассказали обо всём, что случилось со свиньями и с людьми, одержимыми бесами.
But they that fed them fled, and went away into the city and related everything, and what had happened as to those possessed by demons.
