And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing.
Он сказал им: "Не берите с собой в дорогу ничего: ни посоха, ни сумы, ни хлеба, ни денег; возьмите только ту одежду, что на вас.
And He said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, neither a staff, nor a bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not even have two tunics apiece.
Если войдёте в чей-нибудь дом, оставайтесь там до тех пор, пока не придёт время уходить.
“Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that city.
И если жители какого-нибудь города не окажут вам гостеприимства, то, покидая его, отряхните пыль со своих ног, чтобы это служило тем людям предупреждением".
“And as for those who do not receive you, as you go out from that city, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”
И отправились они в путь по селениям, благовествуя и исцеляя больных людей повсюду.
Departing, they began going throughout the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was happening; and he was greatly perplexed, because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead,

and by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the prophets of old had risen again.

Herod said, “I myself had John beheaded; but who is this man about whom I hear such things?” And he kept trying to see Him.
Когда апостолы возвратились к Иисусу, они рассказали Ему подробно обо всём, что сделали. И Он вместе с ними уединился в городе Вифсаиде.
When the apostles returned, they gave an account to Him of all that they had done. Taking them with Him, He withdrew by Himself to a city called Bethsaida.
Но множество народа узнало об этом и последовало за Ним, и Он приветствовал их и стал рассказывать им о Царстве Божьем, исцеляя тех, кто в том нуждался.
But the crowds were aware of this and followed Him; and welcoming them, He began speaking to them about the kingdom of God and curing those who had need of healing.
К концу дня двенадцать апостолов пришли к Нему и сказали: "Отошли этих людей, вели им, чтобы они отправились в окрестные селения и деревни и нашли себе там приют на ночь и какую-нибудь еду, ибо здесь место пустынное".
Five Thousand Fed
Now the day was ending, and the twelve came and said to Him, “Send the crowd away, that they may go into the surrounding villages and countryside and find lodging and get something to eat; for here we are in a desolate place.”
Но Он сказал им: "Вы сами дайте им чего-нибудь поесть!" Они же ответили: "Всё, что у нас есть, это пять хлебов и две рыбины. Ты хочешь, чтобы мы пошли и купили еды для всех этих людей?"
But He said to them, “You give them something to eat!” And they said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless perhaps we go and buy food for all these people.”
Там было около пяти тысяч человек. Но Он сказал апостолам: "Скажите этим людям, чтобы они расположились человек по пятьдесят".
(For there were about five thousand men.) And He said to His disciples, “Have them sit down to eat in groups of about fifty each.”
Тогда Он взял пять хлебов и две рыбины и, обратив взор Свой к небу, возблагодарил Бога за пищу, а потом разделил еду и стал передавать её ученикам, сказав, чтобы те раздавали народу.
Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed them, and broke them, and kept giving them to the disciples to set before the people.
Все ели и насытились, а то, что осталось лишнее, собрали в корзины, и набралось двенадцать полных корзин.
And they all ate and were satisfied; and the broken pieces which they had left over were picked up, twelve baskets full.
Однажды, когда Он молился в уединении и ученики были с Ним, Он спросил их: "Что говорит народ о том, кто Я таков?"
And it happened that while He was praying alone, the disciples were with Him, and He questioned them, saying, “Who do the people say that I am?”
В ответ они сказали: "Одни говорят, что Ты — Иоанн Креститель, другие, что Илия, а третьи, что Ты один из древних пророков, вернувшихся в мир".
They answered and said, “John the Baptist, and others say Elijah; but others, that one of the prophets of old has risen again.”
И Он сказал им: "А вы что думаете, кто Я таков?" И ответил Ему Пётр: "Христос Божий".
And He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered and said, “The Christ of God.”
Но Он предупредил их, чтобы они никому не говорили об этом,
But He warned them and instructed them not to tell this to anyone,
сказав: "Сын Человеческий должен выстрадать многое, и будет Он отвергнут старейшинами, и первосвященниками, и законниками, и предадут Его смерти, и воскреснет Он на третий день".
saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed and be raised up on the third day.”
И сказал Иисус всем: "Если кто-то хочет идти за Мной, пусть отречётся от себя, пусть изо дня в день несёт свой крест и следует за Мной.
And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.
Кто хочет жизнь свою сохранить, тот её потеряет, но кто потеряет её ради Меня, тот её сохранит.
“For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it.
Что пользы человеку приобрести весь мир, а себя самого погубить или погибнуть?
“For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?
Ибо, кто постыдится Меня и слов Моих, того постыдится Сын Человеческий, когда придёт в славе Своей, Отца и святых ангелов.
“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
Истинно говорю: некоторые из здесь стоящих не умрут, как уже увидят Царство Божье".
“But I say to you truthfully, there are some of those standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.”
Дней через восемь после того как Он сказал это, Он отправился на гору молиться, взяв с Собой Петра, Иоанна и Иакова.
The Transfiguration
Some eight days after these sayings, He took along Peter and John and James, and went up on the mountain to pray.
И когда Он молился, лицо Его преобразилось, а одежда стала ослепительно белой.
And while He was praying, the appearance of His face became different, and His clothing became white and gleaming.
И появились двое и стали говорить с Ним. Это были Моисей и Илия.
And behold, two men were talking with Him; and they were Moses and Elijah,
Вокруг них тоже было яркое сияние. И говорили они о грядущей смерти Иисуса в Иерусалиме, через которую Он должен будет пройти.
who, appearing in glory, were speaking of His departure which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.
Пётр и те, кто был с ним, впали в глубокий сон. Проснувшись, они увидели Иисуса во славе и двоих, стоявших с Ним.
Now Peter and his companions had been overcome with sleep; but when they were fully awake, they saw His glory and the two men standing with Him.
И когда те уходили от Иисуса, Пётр сказал Ему, сам не понимая, что говорит: "Господи, хорошо, что мы здесь. Хочешь мы поставим три шатра: один для Тебя, один для Моисея, и один для Илии".
And as these were leaving Him, Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here; let us make three tabernacles: one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah” — not realizing what he was saying.
И пока он говорил это, появилось облако и закрыло их, и они испугались, когда вошли в облако.
While he was saying this, a cloud formed and began to overshadow them; and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.
А голос из облака провозгласил: "Вот Сын Мой Избранный. Слушайте Его".
Then a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!”
Голос умолк, и Иисус остался один. Ученики Иисуса хранили молчание и никому не говорили в те дни о том, что видели.
And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent, and reported to no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.
На следующий день, когда они сошли с горы, огромная толпа встречала Иисуса.
On the next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met Him.
И вот кто-то закричал: "Учитель, умоляю Тебя, приди и взгляни на моего сына, ибо это мой единственный ребёнок.
And a man from the crowd shouted, saying, “Teacher, I beg You to look at my son, for he is my only boy,
Его одолевает нечистый дух, и ребёнок внезапно начинает кричать, его сводит судорогой, и изо рта у него идёт пена. Он мучает мальчика неотступно и почти никогда не оставляет его в покое.
and a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly screams, and it throws him into a convulsion with foaming at the mouth; and only with difficulty does it leave him, mauling him as it leaves.
Я просил Твоих учеников изгнать его, но они не смогли".
“I begged Your disciples to cast it out, and they could not.”
В ответ Иисус сказал: "О, род неверный и развращённый! Сколько Мне ещё быть с вами и терпеть вас? Приведи сюда своего сына".
And Jesus answered and said, “You unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be with you and put up with you? Bring your son here.”
Когда мальчик шёл, бес поверг его на землю и свёл судорогой. Но Иисус запретил это нечистому духу, исцелил мальчика и вернул его отцу.
While he was still approaching, the demon slammed him to the ground and threw him into a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy and gave him back to his father.
И все люди были поражены величием Божьим. Пока народ дивился делам Иисуса, Он сказал ученикам:
And they were all amazed at the greatness of God.
But while everyone was marveling at all that He was doing, He said to His disciples,

"Со вниманием отнеситесь к тому, что сейчас скажу вам: Сын Человеческий вскоре будет предан в руки человеческие".
“Let these words sink into your ears; for the Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men.”
Но они не поняли, так как смысл сказанного был скрыт от них для того, чтобы они не могли понять, а расспросить Иисуса об этом побоялись.
But they did not understand this statement, and it was concealed from them so that they would not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask Him about this statement.
Ученики Иисуса начали спорить между собой, кто из них главнее.
The Test of Greatness
An argument started among them as to which of them might be the greatest.
Но Иисус, зная их мысли, взял маленького ребёнка, поставил подле себя
But Jesus, knowing what they were thinking in their heart, took a child and stood him by His side,
и сказал: "Кто принимает это дитя во имя Моё, тот принимает Меня. А кто принимает Меня, тот принимает Пославшего Меня. Ибо кто самый ничтожный среди вас, тот самый великий".
and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great.”
Иоанн сказал в ответ: "Господи, мы видели человека, который именем Твоим изгонял бесов, и мы остановили его, потому что он не с нами".
John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name; and we tried to prevent him because he does not follow along with us.”
Но Иисус сказал ему: "Не останавливайте его, ибо, кто не против вас, тот за вас".
But Jesus said to him, “Do not hinder him; for he who is not against you is for you.”
Когда приближались дни вознесения Иисуса на небеса, Он твердо решил идти в Иерусалим.
When the days were approaching for His ascension, He was determined to go to Jerusalem;
Тогда Он послал перед Собой вестников. Они отправились и пришли в одно из самаритянских селений, чтобы приготовить всё для Иисуса.
and He sent messengers on ahead of Him, and they went and entered a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him.
Но там не приняли Иисуса, ибо Он имел вид направляющегося в Иерусалим.
But they did not receive Him, because He was traveling toward Jerusalem.
Видя это, Его ученики, Иаков и Иоанн, сказали: "Господи! Хочешь, чтобы мы приказали огню сойти с небес и истребить их?"
When His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?”
Но, повернувшись к ним, Иисус запретил им.
But He turned and rebuked them, [and said, “You do not know what kind of spirit you are of;
И они пошли в другое селение.
for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”] And they went on to another village.
Когда они шли по дороге, кто-то сказал Иисусу: "Я буду следовать за Тобою, куда бы Ты ни шёл".
Exacting Discipleship
As they were going along the road, someone said to Him, “I will follow You wherever You go.”
Иисус ответил ему: "У лис есть норы, у птиц небесных есть гнёзда, а Сыну Человеческому негде даже головы приклонить".
And Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”
Другому человеку Иисус сказал: "Следуй за Мной". Но тот сказал: "Позволь мне прежде пойти и похоронить отца моего".
And He said to another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.”
Но Иисус сказал ему: "Пусть мёртвые хоронят своих мёртвых. Ты же, иди и возвещай Царство Божие".
But He said to him, “Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim everywhere the kingdom of God.”
И другой также сказал: "Я пойду за Тобой, Господи, но прежде позволь мне проститься с домашними".
Another also said, “I will follow You, Lord; but first permit me to say good-bye to those at home.”
