Restoration Promised

And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

Тогда вы и потомки ваши вернётесь к Господу, Богу вашему, и будете всем сердцем следовать Ему и исполнять все Его заповеди, которые я дал вам сегодня.

And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

И тогда Господь, Бог ваш, будет к вам милостив, освободит вас вновь и приведёт обратно от тех народов, среди которых рассеял.

That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

Даже если вы были рассеяны в самые отдалённые края земли, Господь, Бог ваш, соберёт вас и приведёт оттуда обратно.

If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

Господь приведёт вас в землю, которой владели ваши предки, и она станет вашей. Господь сделает вам добро, и у вас будет всего больше, чем было у ваших предков, и народ ваш станет многочисленнее, чем когда-либо.

And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

Господь, Бог ваш, сделает так, что вы и потомки ваши захотите слушать Его, вы возлюбите Господа всем сердцем своим и будете жить!

And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Тогда Господь пошлёт всё это зло вашим врагам, ибо они ненавидят и преследуют вас!

And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

Все вы будете вновь послушны Господу, будете исполнять Его заповеди, которые я даю вам сегодня.

And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

Господь, Бог ваш, сделает все ваши дела успешными, благословит вас множеством детей, благословит ваш скот многочисленным приплодом, благословит ваши поля обилием плодов. Господь будет благосклонен к вам и будет радоваться, делая вам добро, как радовался, делая добро вашим предкам.

And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:

10

Вы же должны делать то, что велит вам Господь, Бог ваш: исполнять Его заповеди и следовать законам, записанным в книге закона. Будьте послушны Господу, Богу вашему, всем сердцем своим и всей душой своей".

If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

The Choice of Life or Death

For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

12

Эта заповедь не на небе, и вы не можете сказать: "Кто поднимется на небеса и принесёт её нам, чтобы мы услышали её и исполняли?"

It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

13

Эта заповедь не на другом краю света, и вы не можете сказать: "Кто для нас пересечёт море и принесёт её нам, чтобы мы услышали и исполняли её?"

Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

Это слово очень близко к вам, оно у вас на устах и у вас в сердцах, так что исполняйте его!

But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

15

Сегодня я даю вам выбор между жизнью и смертью, добром и злом,

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

16

даю вам наказ любить Господа, Бога вашего, исполнять Его заповеди, законы и постановления; тогда будете жить, и народ ваш умножится, и Господь, Бог ваш, благословит вас на земле, в которую вы идёте, чтобы овладеть ею.

In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

17

Но если вы отвернётесь от Господа и не будете послушны Ему, если вас уведут в сторону, и вы станете поклоняться другим богам и служить им,

But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

18

то будете истреблены. Я предупреждаю вас, что если вы отойдёте от Господа, то не проживёте долго в земле за Иорданом, в которую собираетесь войти, чтобы овладеть ею.

I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

19

Я даю вам сегодня выбрать одно из двух и призываю небо и землю в свидетели вашего выбора. Вы можете избрать жизнь или смерть: первый выбор принесёт благословение, второй — проклятие. Изберите жизнь, и тогда и вы, и дети ваши будете жить!

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

20

Любите Господа, Бога вашего, будьте послушны Ему, никогда не оставляйте Его. Ибо Господь — жизнь ваша, Он даст вам долгую жизнь в земле, которую обещал дать вашим предкам Аврааму, Исааку и Иакову".

That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
