Було також через пророка Єгу, сина Ханані, слово Господнє до Вааси і до його дому, не лише за все те зло, що він учинив перед очима Господа, прогнівивши його ділами рук своїх, — за що судилось йому те, що домові Єровоама, — але й за те, що винищив цей дім.

Та вже через пророка Іуя Гананїєнка було виречене слово Господнє про Баасу й дом його й про все зло, яке вчинив він перед очима Господнїми, розпалюючи гнїв його дїлами рук своїх, так що йому судилось те, що домові Еробоамовому, — за що Бааса вбив його (пророка). -
І було слово Господнє через пророка Єгу, сина Хананієвого, до Баші та до дому його, а то через усе те зло, що ко́їв він у Господніх оча́х, щоб гніви́ти Його чином своїх рук, щоб бути, як Єровоамів дім, що Він побив його.

Та Господь через Ія, сина Ананія, заговорив проти Вааси і проти його дому за все зло, яке він учинив перед Господом, щоб викликати Його гнів ділами своїх рук, бувши як дім Єровоама, і за те, що його погубив.

Но через Иуя, сына Ананиева, уже было сказано слово Господне о Ваасе и о доме его и о всем зле, какое он делал пред очами Господа, раздражая Его делами рук своих, подражая дому Иеровоамову, за что он истреблён был.

And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.

The message from the LORD against Baasha and his family came through the prophet Jehu son of Hanani. It was delivered because Baasha had done what was evil in the LORD’s sight (just as the family of Jeroboam had done), and also because Baasha had destroyed the family of Jeroboam. The LORD’s anger was provoked by Baasha’s sins.
