The Family of David

Now these were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon, by Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second, [a]Daniel, by Abigail the Carmelitess;

третій — Авесалом, син Маахи, дочки Талмая, гешурського царя; четвертий — Адонія, син Хаггіти;

the third, Absalom the son of Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith;

п'ятий — Шефатія від Авітали; шостий — Ітреам від Егли, його жінки.

the fifth, Shephatiah, by Abital; the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah.

Шестеро народились у нього в Хевроні; царював він там 7 років і 6 місяців, а 33 роки царював у Єрусалимі.

These six were born to him in Hebron. There he reigned seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years.

А оці народились у нього в Єрусалимі: Шімеа, Шовав, Натан і Соломон, четверо від Ветсавії, дочки Аммієла;

And these were born to him in Jerusalem: [b]Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon — four by [c]Bathshua the daughter of [d]Ammiel.

Ївхар, Елішуа, Еліфелет,

Also there were Ibhar, [e]Elishama, [f]Eliphelet,

Ногаг, Нефег, Яфія,

Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

Елішама, Веліяда й Еліфелет — дев'ятеро.

Elishama, [g]Eliada, and Eliphelet — nine in all.

Оце всі Давидові сини, окрім синів від наложниць. Тамар була їхня сестра.

These were all the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.

Син Соломона: Ровоам; син цього — Авія, син цього — Аса, син цього — Йосафат,

The Family of Solomon

Solomon’s son was Rehoboam; [h]Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

син цього — Йорам, син цього — Ахазія, син цього — Йоас,

[i]Joram his son, [j]Ahaziah his son, [k]Joash his son,

син цього — Амасія, син цього — Азарія, син цього — Йотан,

Amaziah his son, [l]Azariah his son, Jotham his son,

син цього — Ахаз, син цього — Єзекія, син цього — Манассія,

Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,

син цього — Амон, син цього — Йосія.

Amon his son, and Josiah his son.

Сини Йосії: первородний Йоханан, другий Йоаким, третій Седекія, четвертий Шаллум.

The sons of Josiah were Johanan the firstborn, the second [m]Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, and the fourth [n]Shallum.

Сини Йоакима: Єхонія його син, Седекія — син цього.

The sons of Jehoiakim were [o]Jeconiah his son and [p]Zedekiah his son.

The Family of Jeconiah

And the sons of [q]Jeconiah [r]were Assir, Shealtiel his son,

Малкірам, Педая, Шенацар, Єкамія, Гошама та Недавія.

and Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

The sons of Pedaiah were Zerubbabel and Shimei. The sons of Zerubbabel were Meshullam, Hananiah, Shelomith their sister,

Сини Мешуллама: Хашува, Огел, Берехія, Яхсадія, Юшав-Хесед — п'ятеро.

and Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-Hesed — five in all.

Сини Хананії: Пелатія та Ісая його син; Рефая його син; Арнан його син; Овдія його син; Шеханія його син.

The sons of Hananiah were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, and the sons of Shechaniah.

Син Шеханіі: Шемая. Сини Шемаї: Хаттуш, Їгал, Барія, Неарія, Сафат — шестеро.

The son of Shechaniah was Shemaiah. The sons of Shemaiah were Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat — six in all.

Сини Неарії: Еліоенай, Єзекія та Азрікам — троє.

The sons of Neariah were Elioenai, Hezekiah, and Azrikam — three in all.

Сини Еліоеная: Годавія, Еліяшів, Пелая, Аккув, Йоханан, Делая та Анані — семеро.

The sons of Elioenai were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani — seven in all.
