    The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

    The Temple Musicians

    And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of Jehovah after that the ark was in rest.

    And they ministered before the tabernacle of the tent of meeting with singing, until Solomon had built the house of Jehovah in Jerusalem; and they attended to their office according to their order.

    Решті синів Кегата дали за жеребом, за їхніми родинами, 10 міст коліна Ефраїма, коліна Дана й половини коліна Манассії.

    the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,

    Синам Гершома, за їхніми родинами, 13 міст від коліна Іссахара, коліна Ашера, коліна Нафталі й коліна Манассії в Башані.

    the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

    Синам Мерарі, за їхніми родинами, за жеребом 12 міст від коліна Рувима, коліна Гада й коліна Завулона.

    And their brethren the Levites were given for all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

    Descendants of Aaron

    And Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt-offering, and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

    And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

    Territory for the Levites

    And these are their dwelling-places according to their encampments, within their borders. For the sons of Aaron, of the family of the Kohathites, for theirs was the lot;

    and they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and its suburbs round about it;

    but the fields of the city, and the hamlets thereof gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

    And to the children of Aaron they gave the city of refuge, Hebron; and Libnah and its suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa and its suburbs,

    and Hilen and its suburbs, Debir and its suburbs,

    and Ashan and its suburbs, and Beth-shemesh and its suburbs;

    Хукок з його пасовиськами та Рехов з його пасовиськами;

    and, out of the tribe of Benjamin, Geba and its suburbs, and Allemeth and its suburbs, and Anathoth and its suburbs: all their cities, thirteen cities, according to their families.

    And to the children of Kohath that remained [were given] by lot out of the families of the tribe [of Ephraim and of the tribe of Dan and] of the half tribe, half Manasseh, ten cities.

    Для решти синів Мерарі, від коліна Завулона, Ріммон з його пасовиськами та Тавор з його пасовиськами.

    And to the children of Gershom according to their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

    А по той бік Йордану, навпроти Єрихону, на схід від Йордану, від коліна Рувима дали: Бецер у пустині з його пасовиськами, Ягцу з його пасовиськами,

    To the children of Merari [were given] by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

    Кедомот з його пасовиськами та Мефаат з його пасовиськами;

    And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.

    And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which were mentioned by name.

    And to the families of the children of Kohath who had the cities of their territory out of the tribe of Ephraim,
