Веніямин породив Белу, свого первістка, другого Ашбела, третього Ахірама,

Genealogy from Benjamin to Saul

And Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,

четвертого Ноху та п'ятого Раху.

Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

У Бели були сини Аддар, Гера, Авігуд,

And Bela had sons: Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,

Авішуа, Нааман, Акоах,

and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,

Гера, Шефуфан та Хірам.

and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.

А ось сини Егуда: вони були голови батьківських домів тих, що жили в Геві; потім переселили їх у Манахат:

-- And these are the sons of Ehud (these were the chief fathers of the inhabitants of Geba; and they carried them away to Manahath;

Нааман, Ахія та Гера; цей переселив їх; він породив Уззу та Ахігуда.

even Naaman, and Ahijah, and Gera; he removed them), and he begot Uzza and Ahihud.

Шахараїм породив у Моав-краю синів після того, як відправив від себе Хушім та Баару, своїх жінок.

And Shaharaim begot [children] in the land of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.

Він породив від Ходеші, своєї жінки: Йовава, Цівею, Мешу, Малкама,

And he begot of Hodesh his wife: Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,

Єуца, Сохію та Мірму; це його сини, голови батьківських родин.

and Jeuz, and Shobia, and Mirmah; these were his sons, chief fathers.

Від Хушіми ж породив Авітува та Елпаала.

And of Hushim he begot Abitub, and Elpaal.

Сини Елпаала: Евер, Мішам та Шемед; цей збудував Оно та Лод із залежними від нього містами.

And the sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misham, and Shemer, who built Ono, and Lod and its dependent villages;

Потім Верія й Шема. Вони були голови батьківських домів тих, що жили в Аялоні. Вони вигнали мешканців з Гату.

and Beriah, and Shema, who were chief fathers of the inhabitants of Ajalon; they drove away the inhabitants of Gath.

Їхні брати були Шашак та Єрімот.

And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,

Зевадія, Арад, Едер,

and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder,

Михаїл, Ішпа та Йоха були сини Верії.

and Michael, and Jishpah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

Зевадія, Мешуллам, Хізкі, Хевер,

And Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hiski, and Heber,

Їшмерай, Їзлія та Йовав були сини Елпаала.

and Jishmerai, and Jizliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

Яким, Зіхрі, Завді,

And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,

Еліенай, Цілтай, Елієл,

and Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,

Адая, Берая та Шімрат були сини Шімеї.

and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.

Їшпан, Евер, Еліел,

And Jishpah, and Eber, and Eliel,

Авдон, Зіхрі, Ханан,

and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,

Хананія,. Елам, Антотія,

and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,

Іфдія та Пенуел були сини Шашака.

and Jiphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

Шамшерай, Шехарія, Аталія,

And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,

Ярешія, Елія та Зіхрі були сини Єрохама.

and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

Це — голови батьківських домів за їхніми родами; це були проводирі, — вони жили в Єрусалимі.

These were the chief fathers, according to their generations, principal men; these dwelt in Jerusalem.

В Гівеокі жили Єїел, батько Гівеона, жінка його на ім'я Мааха;

And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; and his wife's name was Maachah.

його первісток Авдон, опісля Цур, Кіш, Ваал, Надав,

And his son, the firstborn, was Abdon; and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,

Гедор, Ахіо, Зехер та Міклот.

and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.

Міклот породив Шіму. І вони жили теж із своїми братами в Єрусалимі.

And Mikloth begot Shimeah. And these also dwelt beside their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren.

Нер породив Авнера; Кіш породив Саула; Саул породив Йонатана, Малкішуа, Авінадава та Ішбаала.

Genealogy from King Saul

And Ner begot Kish; and Kish begot Saul; and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

Син Йонатана — Мерібаал; Мерібаал породив Міху.

And the son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal; and Merib-Baal begot Micah.

Сини Міхи: Пітон, Мелех, Тареа та Ахаз.

And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.

Ахаз породив Йоядду, Йоядда породив Алемета, Азмавета та Зімрі, Зімрі породив Моцу.

And Ahaz begot Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza;

Моца породив Біну. Рефая його син, Елеаса його син, Ацел його син.

and Moza begot Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

В Ацела було шестеро синів. Ось імена їхні: Азрікам, Бокру, Ізмаїл, Шеарія, Овдія та Ханан. Усі ці були сини Ацела.

And Azel had six sons, and these are their names: Azrikam, Bochru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; all these were sons of Azel.

Сини ж Ешека його брата: Улам, його первісток, другий Єуш, третій Еліфелет.

And the sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

Сини Улама були хоробрі вояки, що стріляли з лука. Було в них багато синів та внуків — 150. Усі вони походили від синів Веніямина.

And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers; and they had many sons, and sons' sons, a hundred and fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
