Give Thanks to the Lord, for He is Good
Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

Хай скаже дім Ізраїля: «Милість його повіки!»
Oh let Israel say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

Oh let the house of Aaron say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

Oh let them that fear Jehovah say, that his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
Із тісноти я візвав до Господа, — Господь відповів мені і визволив.
I called upon Jah in distress; Jah answered me [and set me] in a large place.
Господь зо мною — не злякаюсь; що може людина мені зробити?
Jehovah is for me, I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
Господь зо мною, моя допомога, і я дивитимусь на тих, що мене ненавидять.
Jehovah is for me among them that help me; and I shall see [my desire] upon them that hate me.

It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in man;

It is better to trust in Jehovah than to put confidence in nobles.

All nations encompassed me; but in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.

They encompassed me, yea, encompassed me; but in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
Обсіли мене, наче бджоли, палили, мов вогонь з тернини, ім'ям Господнім я їх розіб'ю.
They encompassed me like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of Jehovah have I destroyed them.
Штовхнув мене сильно, щоб аж повалити, але Господь прийшов мені на допомогу.
Thou hast thrust hard at me that I might fall; but Jehovah helped me.
Сила моя й пісня моя — Господь, він став моїм спасінням.
My strength and song is Jah, and he is become my salvation.
Луна радости й торжества у шатрах праведних; правиця Господня явила силу.
The voice of triumph and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: the right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly;
Правиця Господня піднялася, правиця Господня об'явила силу,
The right hand of Jehovah is exalted, the right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.
Я не вмру, я житиму і розповідатиму про діла Господні.
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of Jah.
Карав, карав мене Господь суворо, але на смерть не видав.
Jah hath chastened me sore; but he hath not given me over unto death.
Відчиніть мені ворота правди, я ввійду ними, воздам Господеві подяку.
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them; Jah will I praise.
Ось Господні ворота, праведники ними ввійдуть.
This is the gate of Jehovah: the righteous shall enter therein.
Дякую тобі, бо відповів мені і став мені спасінням.
I will give thee thanks, for thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
Камінь, яким знехтували будівничі, став головним на розі.
[The] stone which the builders rejected hath become the head of the corner:
Від Господа це сталось, і дивне воно в очах наших.
This is of Jehovah; it is wonderful in our eyes.
Цей день учинив Господь, радіймо й веселімся в ньому!
This is the day that Jehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Спаси, о Господи, тебе благаєм! Дай же рятунок, Господи, благаєм!
Oh save, Jehovah, I beseech thee; Jehovah, I beseech thee, oh send prosperity!
Благословенний той, що приходить в ім'я Господнє! З дому Господнього ми вас благословляєм.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of Jehovah. We have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah.
Господь є Бог, і він осяяв нас. Ведіть хоровід із гілками аж до рогів жертовника.
Jehovah is God, and he hath given us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, -- up to the horns of the altar.
Ти єси Бог мій, і я дякую тобі, о Боже мій, тебе я буду возносити.
Thou art my God, and I will give thee thanks; my God, I will exalt thee.
