Praise ye Jah! for it is good. Sing psalms of our God; for it is pleasant: praise is comely.

Господь Єрусалим будує, розсіяних Ізраїля збирає.
Jehovah doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth the outcasts of Israel.
Розбитих серцем він ізціляє і перев'язує їх рани.
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
Він число зір лічить і кожну пойменно називає.
He counteth the number of the stars; he giveth names to them all.
Великий наш Господь, велика його сила, і розумові його немає міри.
Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
Господь принижених підносить, а нечестивих понижує додолу.
Jehovah lifteth up the meek; he abaseth the wicked to the earth.
Співайте Господеві на подяку, хваліте Бога нашого на гарфі.
Sing unto Jehovah with thanksgiving; sing psalms upon the harp unto our God:
Він хмарами вкриває небо, готує дощ на землю, ростить траву на горах.
Who covereth the heavens with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains;
Дає для скоту поживу і воронятам, що квилять.
Who giveth to the cattle their food, to the young ravens which cry.
Він милується не силою коня і не ноги мужа йому довподоби, —
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse, he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man;
Господь любить тих, що його бояться, що його милости чекають.
Jehovah taketh pleasure in those that fear him, in those that hope in his loving-kindness.
Слав Господа, Єрусалиме! Хвали, Сіоне, Бога твого!
Laud Jehovah, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
Бо він укріпив брам твоїх засуви, благословив дітей твоїх посеред тебе.
For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee;
Він робить мир у твоїх межах, насичує тебе ситтю пшеничною.
He maketh peace in thy borders; he satisfieth thee with the finest of the wheat.
Він посилає свій глагол на землю, слово його несеться швидко.
He sendeth forth his oracles to the earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
Він дає сніг, як вовну; як попіл, іній розсипає,
He giveth snow like wool, scattereth the hoar frost like ashes;
кришками лід кидає, — перед його морозом хто встоїться? —
He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
він посилає своє слово і їх розтоплює, подме своїм вітром — течуть води.
He sendeth his word, and melteth them; he causeth his wind to blow -- the waters flow.
Він Яковові звістив своє слово, Ізраїлеві свої присуди й свої устави.
He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
