тоді побачив я, розглянувши всі діла Божі, що ніхто не може збагнути діл, які діються під сонцем. Як би чоловік не силкувався, не може їх дослідити. Та й мудрий теж, навіть коли думає, що знає, не може їх дослідити.

Тодї спізнав я по всїх дїлах Божих, що людина не второпає того, що дїється під сонцем. Скільки б нї силкувався чоловік дослїдити, він все таки не здолїє виглибити того; і коли б який мудрець сказав, що він знає, то таки він не може того дослїдити. -
і коли я побачив усякий чин Бога, тоді я пізнав, що не може люди́на збагнути чину, під сонцем учи́неного! Тому скільки люди́на не тру́диться, щоб дошукатись цього, то не зна́йде, і коли й мудрий скаже, що знає, — не зможе знайти!

І я побачив усі Божі творіння, що людина не зможе осягнути творіння, зроблене під сонцем. І скільки б людина не намагалася осягнути, то не осягне. І скільки б мудрий не говорив, що пізнав, не зможе осягнути.

тогда я увидел все дела Божии и нашёл, что человек не может постигнуть дел, которые делаются под солнцем. Сколько бы человек ни трудился в исследовании, он всё-таки не постигнет этого; и если бы какой мудрец сказал, что он знает, он не может постигнуть этого.

Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.

then I saw all that God has done. No one can comprehend what goes on under the sun. Despite all their efforts to search it out, no one can discover its meaning. Even if the wise claim they know, they cannot really comprehend it. -

тогда я увидел все, что сделал Бог. Человек не может постичь того, что происходит под солнцем. Как бы человек ни старался постичь этого, он не сможет найти смысла. Даже если какой-нибудь мудрец скажет, что он-то знает, на самом деле он не постиг этого.

I realized that no one can discover everything God is doing under the sun. Not even the wisest people discover everything, no matter what they claim.
