І як голодному ввісні сниться, що він їсть, а прокинеться, — аж голод його мучить; або як спраглому сниться, що він п'є, а прокинеться, — аж його в'ялить, і в горлі в нього пересохло, так воно буде й з ордою всіх народів, що воюють проти гори Сіону.

І буде, мов бачить голодний у сні, ніби їсть, а прокинеться він — і порожня душа його, і мов спра́гнений бачить у сні, ніби п'є, а прокинеться він — і ось змучений, а душа його спра́гнена! Та́к буде на́товпові всіх наро́дів, що пі́дуть війною на го́ру Сіон.

І будуть так, як ті, що вві сні п’ють та їдять, коли вони встали, і їхній сон марний, і так, як спраглий, коли сниться, що п’є, уставши, і надалі є спраглий, а його душа марно надіялася, — так буде багатство всіх народів, які воювали проти гори Сіон.

И как голодному снится, будто он ест, но пробуждается, и душа его тоща; и как жаждущему снится, будто он пьёт, но пробуждается, и вот он томится, и душа его жаждет: то же будет и множеству всех народов, воюющих против горы Сиона.

It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.
