“Comfort, yes, comfort My people!”
Says your God.

Промовляйте Єрусалимові до серця й вістіть йому, що скінчилась його служба, спокутувано його несправедливість, бо він прийняв з руки Господньої удвоє за всі його злочини!
Голос чути: — Стеліть Господові дорогу у пустині, рівняйте в степу шлях нашому Богові!
Нехай кожна долина заповниться, кожна гора й пагорб нехай знизиться! Нехай провалля стануть рівниною, а прикрі кручі — низиною!
Тоді слава Господня з'явиться, і всі творіння узрять її разом, бо так прорекли уста Господні.

Ось Господь Бог іде в потузі, раменом своїм панує. Ось нагорода його з ним, заплата його перед обличчям у нього.

Чи ти ж не знаєш, чи ти не чував? Господь — Бог вічний, творець кінців землі: він не втомлюється, не знемагається, розум його недослідимий.
