Тоді чоловік устав у дорогу, сам він і його наложниия й наймит, тесть же, батько молодиці, сказав до нього: “Дивись, як день уже хилиться до вечора, ночуй тут, глянь бо — смеркає. Ночуй тут та повеселися, а взавтра рано встанете й підете в дорогу додому.”

Як устав же чоловік, щоб відходити з наліжницею та з наймитом, каже йому тесть: Дивись, як день хилиться 'д вечеру; ночуйте та повеселїтесь; завтра рано встанете в дорогу і пійдете додому. -
І встав той чоловік, щоб іти, він та наложниця його та слуга його. І сказав йому тесть його, батько тієї молодої жінки: „Ось день схилився на вечір, — переночуй же! Ось день кладеться, — ночуй тут, і нехай буде добре тобі на серці! І встанете взавтра рано, у доро́гу свою́, та й пі́деш до намету свого“.

і встав чоловік, щоб відійти, — він, його наложниця і його слуга. І його тесть, батько молодиці, сказав йому: Ось схилився день до вечора, відпочинь тут ще сьогодні, і нехай розвеселиться твоє серце, і встанете вранці в дорогу вашу, і відійдеш до твого житла.

И встал тот человек, чтоб идти, сам он, наложница его и слуга его. И сказал ему тесть его, отец молодой женщины: вот, день преклонился к вечеру, ночуйте, пожалуйте; вот, дню скоро конец, ночуй здесь, пусть повеселится сердце твоё; завтра пораньше встанете в путь ваш, и пойдёшь в дом твой.

And when the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father in law, the damsel's father, said unto him, Behold, now the day draweth toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day groweth to an end, lodge here, that thine heart may be merry; and to morrow get you early on your way, that thou mayest go home.

And when the man stood to depart — he and his concubine and his servant — his father-in-law, the young woman’s father, said to him, “Look, the day is now drawing toward evening; please spend the night. See, the day is coming to an end; lodge here, that your heart may be merry. Tomorrow go your way early, so that you may get [b]home.”
