Коли ж би хтось піднявсь тебе гонити чи то чигати на твоє життя, то нехай життя мого пана буде вв'язане в вузол живих у Господа, Бога твого, життя ж твоїх ворогів — нехай їх пращею геть кине.

Коли б який чоловік піднявсь тебе гонити чи то чигати на душу твою, дак нехай душа пана мого буде ввязана в узол живих у Господа, Бога твого, душі ж ворогів твоїх розкине він як пращею. -
І хоч повстане хто гнати тебе, і шукати твоєї душі, то буде душа мого пана зв'я́зана у в'язці живих із Господом, Богом твоїм, а душу ворогів твоїх — нехай Він її кине, як із пра́щі!

І коли повстане чоловік, який тебе переслідує і шукає твоєї душі, то душа мого володаря буде прив’язана в’язами життя в Господа Бога, і душу твоїх ворогів викинеш з-посеред пращі.

Если восстанет человек преследовать тебя и искать души твоей, то душа господина моего будет завязана в узле жизни у Господа, Бога твоего, а душу врагов твоих бросит Он как бы пращею.

Yet a man is risen to pursue thee, and to seek thy soul: but the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD thy God; and the souls of thine enemies, them shall he sling out, as out of the middle of a sling.

Even though someone is pursuing you to take your life, the life of my lord will be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the Lord your God, but the lives of your enemies he will hurl away as from the pocket of a sling. -
