Та Давид промовив: Не вчините так після того, як Господь передав нам ворогів і зберіг нас, і Господь передав у наші руки групу, яка на нас напала!

Но Давид сказал: не делайте так, братья мои, после того, как Господь дал нам это и сохранил нас и предал в руки наши полчище, приходившее против нас.

Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD hath given us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into our hand.
