Л юблю Господа; він бо почув голос мій, благаннє моє;

Thanksgiving for Deliverance from Death.

I love the LORD, because He hears
My voice and my supplications.

Він бо прихилив до мене ухо своє; буду призивати його по всї днї мої.

Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.

Обняли мене смертні пута, і підземна тїснота постигла мене; в горю і в тузї я зостарівся.

The cords of death encompassed me
And the terrors of Sheol came upon me;
I found distress and sorrow.

І призвав я імя Господа: Благаю тебе, Господи, спаси душу мою.

Then I called upon the name of the LORD:
“O LORD, I beseech You, save my life!”

Благий Господь і справедливий; і милосердний Бог наш.

Gracious is the LORD, and righteous;
Yes, our God is compassionate.

Господь заступає простодушних; я знемігся, і він вирятував мене.

The LORD preserves the simple;
I was brought low, and He saved me.

Вернись, душе моя, до спокою твого! Бо Господь добродїй твій.

Return to your rest, O my soul,
For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.

Ти бо спас душу мою від смерти, очи мої від слїз, ногу мою від пропастї.

For You have rescued my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
My feet from stumbling.

Буду ходити перед Господом в країнї живих.

I shall walk before the LORD
In the land of the living.

Я вірував, тому й казав. Був я дуже прибитий.

I believed when I said,
“I am greatly afflicted.”

Сказав у зворушенню моїм: всї люде обманьчиві!

I said in my alarm,
“All men are liars.”

Чим віддячити менї Господеві за добродїйства його, сотворені менї?

What shall I render to the LORD
For all His benefits toward me?

Чашу спасення піднесу, і імя Господа призову.

I shall lift up the cup of salvation
And call upon the name of the LORD.

Сповню Господеві всї обітницї мої, перед всїм народом його.

I shall pay my vows to the LORD,
Oh may it be in the presence of all His people.

Дорога перед очима Господа смерть угодників його.

Precious in the sight of the LORD
Is the death of His godly ones.

Благаю тебе, Господи, я бо слуга твій; я слуга твій, син слугинї твоєї; ти розбив кайдани мої.

O LORD, surely I am Your servant,
I am Your servant, the son of Your handmaid,
You have loosed my bonds.

Тобі принесу жертву хвали, і призову імя Господа.

To You I shall offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And call upon the name of the LORD.

Сповню Господеві всї обітницї мої, перед усїм народом його,

I shall pay my vows to the LORD,
Oh may it be in the presence of all His people,

У дворах дому Господнього, серед тебе, Єрусалиме. Аллилуя!

In the courts of the LORD’S house,
In the midst of you, O Jerusalem.
