Бо ось, вороги твої розбуялись, і ненавидники твої підносять голову.
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
Зрадливо змовляються проти народа твого, і нараджуються проти тих, що бережеш їх.
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
Кажуть: Ходїм, знищемо їх, щоб не були вже народом, щоб нїхто не згадував більше імя Ізраїля!
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
Вони бо радили раду однодушно, зробили змову проти тебе.
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
Намети Едомові і Ізмаїлїї, Моаб і Агаряне,
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
Геваль і Аммон, і Амалик, Филистії з людьми Тирськими;
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Тай Ассур пристав до них; стали рамям синам Лота.
Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
Зроби їм те, що Мидіянїям, що Сісері, що Явиму коло потока Кисона,
Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
Котрі, знищені коло Ендора, гноєм для землї стали.
Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
Зроби з ними, з їх можними, як з Горебом, і з Зебом, і як з Зебаком і з Зальмуном, з усїма князями їх,
Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
Котрі сказали: позаймаймо домівки Божі!
Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
Боже мій, зроби їх, як порох у вихрі, як терміттє перед вітром!
O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
Як огонь лїси пожирає, і як поломя гори запалює,
As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
Так ти гони їх вихром твоїм і бурею-хуртовиною, злякавши, змети їх!
So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
Сповни лице їх соромом, щоб шукали імені твого, Господи!
Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.
Щоб осоромились і злякались на віки, і зо встидом погибли.
Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
