Висїдають гадючі яйця, тчуть паутину; хто попоїсть яєць їх, — умре, а як роздавить, — василиск вилазить.

Висиджують гадючі яйця, тчуть павутиння. Хто їсть їхні яйця, вмирає; як їх роздавити, гадюка з них вилазить.

Виси́джують я́йця гадю́чі та тчуть павути́ння: хто з'їсть з їхніх яєць, помирає, а з розбитого — га́дина ви́йде.

Розбили яйця гадюк і плетуть сітку павука. І хто хоче їсти їхні яйця, розбивши, знайшов запорток, а в ньому — василіск.
