І послав цар, і покликав Шім'ї та й сказав до нього: „Чи ж я не заприсяг тебе Господом, і не взяв свідка проти тебе, говорячи: Того дня, коли ти ви́йдеш і пі́деш туди чи сюди, щоб ти добре знав, що конче помреш? І ти сказав мені: Добра це річ, що я чув.

Послав цар покликати Семея та й каже йому: «Чи я ж не взяв з тебе Господньої присяги і не завірив тебе: в той день, як підеш звідси кудинебудь, мусиш — затям собі те добре — вмерти? І ти відповів мені: Добре воно, те, що чую!

І післав царь закликати Семея, та й каже йому: Чи ж я не поклявся тобі Господом і не завірив тебе: скоро ти звідсї пійдеш куди небудь, мусиш — знай се — вмерти? Ти ж відказав менї: добре! чую! -
І послав цар, покликав Семея і сказав йому: Хіба не закляв я тебе Господом і засвідчив тобі, мовлячи: У той день, в який вийдеш з Єрусалима і підеш направо чи наліво, достеменно знай [3] , що неодмінно помреш [4]?

И, послав, призвал царь Семея и сказал ему: не клялся ли я тебе Господом и не объявлял ли тебе, говоря: «знай, что в тот день, в который ты выйдешь и пойдёшь куда-нибудь, непременно умрёшь»? и ты сказал мне: «хорошо»;

And the king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him, Did I not make thee to swear by the LORD, and protested unto thee, saying, Know for a certain, on the day thou goest out, and walkest abroad any whither, that thou shalt surely die? and thou saidst unto me, The word that I have heard is good.
