А Еверові народилося двоє синів, — ім'я́ одно́му Пелеґ, бо за його днів була поділена земля, а ім'я́ брата його — Йоктан.
And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
і Офіра, і Хавілу, і Йовава, — усі вони сини Йоктанові.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were sons of Joktan.

Оце їхні наща́дки: первороджений Ізмаї́лів Невайот, і Кедар, і Адбеїл, і Мівсам,
These are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;
Єтур, Нафіш, і Кедема, — оце вони сини Ізмаї́лові.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedmah: those are the sons of Ishmael.
А сини Кетури, Авраамової наложниці: вона породила Зімрана, і Йокшана, і Медана, і Мідіяна, і Їшбака, і Шуаха. А Йокшанові сини: Шева й Дедан.
-- And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
А Мідіянові сини: Ефа, і Ефер, і Ханох, і Авіда, і Елдаа, — ці всі сини Кетури.

And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
А сини Лотанові: Хорі, і Гомам, і Ахот, Лотан, Тімна.
-- And the sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. And Lotan's sister, Timna.
Сини Шовалові: Ал'ян, і Манахат, і Евал, Шефі, і Онам. А сини Ців'онові: Айя й Ана.

And Husham died; and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the fields of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
І помер Гадад, а замість нього зацарював Самла з Масреки.
And Hadad died; and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
І помер Самла, а замість нього зацарював Саул з Рехевот-Ганнагару.
And Samlah died; and Saul of Rehoboth on the river reigned in his stead.
І помер Саул, а замість нього зацарював Баал-Ханан, син Ахборів.
And Saul died; and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
І помер Баал-Ханан, а замість нього зацарював Гадад, а ім'я́ його міста — Раї, а ім'я́ жінки його — Мегетав'їл, дочка Матреда, дочки́ Ме-Загавової.
And Baal-hanan died; and Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.
