І сталося по двадцятьо́х ро́ках, коли Соломо́н будував дім Господній та свій дім,
Solomon’s Accomplishments
At the end of twenty years, in which Solomon had built the house of the Lord and his own house,

то міста́, які дав Хура́м Соломо́нові, Соломон розбудува́в їх, і осади́в там Ізраїлевих синів.
Solomon rebuilt the cities that Hiram had given to him, and settled the people of Israel in them.
І збудував він Тадмора в пустині, та всі міста для запа́сів, що побудував у Хаматі.
He built Tadmor in the wilderness and all the store cities that he built in Hamath.
І побудував він Бет-Хорон горі́шній та Бет-Хорон до́лішній, тверди́нні міста́, — му́ри, двері та за́суви,
He also built Upper Beth-horon and Lower Beth-horon, fortified cities with walls, gates, and bars,
і Баалат, і всі міста для запа́сів, що були в Соломона, і всі міста́ для колесни́ць, і міста́ для верхівці́в, і всяке пожада́ння Соломона, що жадав він збудувати в Єрусалимі й на Ливані, та в усьому Кра́ї його панува́ння.
and Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had and all the cities for his chariots and the cities for his horsemen, and whatever Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.
Увесь наро́д, позоста́лий з хітте́ян, і з аморе́ян, і з періззе́ян, і з хівве́ян, і з євусе́ян, що вони не з Ізраїля,
All the people who were left of the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of Israel,
з їхніх сині́в, що зоста́лися по них у Краї, що їх не повигу́блювали Ізраїлеві сини, то їх Соломон узяв на дани́ну, і це позоста́лося аж до цього дня.
from their descendants who were left after them in the land, whom the people of Israel had not destroyed — these Solomon drafted as forced labor, and so they are to this day.
А Ізра́їлевих синів Соломон не робив рабами для своєї праці, але́ вони були військо́ві, і зве́рхники сторо́жі його, і зве́рхники колесни́ць його та його верхівці́в.
But of the people of Israel Solomon made no slaves for his work; they were soldiers, and his officers, the commanders of his chariots, and his horsemen.
І оце вони були зве́рхники намі́сники царя Соломона, — двісті і п'ятдеся́т, що панували над наро́дом.
And these were the chief officers of King Solomon, 250, who exercised authority over the people.
А фараонову дочку́ перевів Соломон із Давидового Міста до дому, що збудував для неї, як сказав: „Не буде сидіти мені жінка в домі Давида, Ізраїлевого царя, бо святий він, бо Господній ковчег увійшов у нього“.
Solomon brought Pharaoh’s daughter up from the city of David to the house that he had built for her, for he said, “My wife shall not live in the house of David king of Israel, for the places to which the ark of the Lord has come are holy.”
Тоді Соломон прині́с цілопа́лення для Господа на Господньому же́ртівнику, якого він збудував перед притво́ром,
Then Solomon offered up burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of the Lord that he had built before the vestibule,
щоб за потребою кожного дня прино́сити жертву за Мойсеєвим нака́зом, на суботи, і на молодики́, і на свята три ра́зи в році: в свято Опрі́сноків, і в свято Тижнів, і в свято Кучок.
as the duty of each day required, offering according to the commandment of Moses for the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the three annual feasts — the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Booths.
І поставив він, за розпоря́дком Давида, батька свого, че́рги священиків на їхню службу, і Левитів на їхніх ва́ртах на хвалу́ та на службу відповідно до священиків за потребою кожного дня, і придве́рних в їхніх черга́х для кожної брами, бо такий був нака́з Давида, Божого чоловіка.
According to the ruling of David his father, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites for their offices of praise and ministry before the priests as the duty of each day required, and the gatekeepers in their divisions at each gate, for so David the man of God had commanded.
І не відступали вони від нака́зів царя про священиків та Левитів, щодо всякої речі й щодо ска́рбів.
And they did not turn aside from what the king had commanded the priests and Levites concerning any matter and concerning the treasuries.
І була зро́блена вся Соломонова праця аж до цього дня, від зало́ження Господнього дому й аж до закі́нчення його, коли був закі́нчений дім Господній.
Тоді пішов Соломон до Ецйон-Ґеверу та до Елоту над мо́рським берегом в едо́мському кра́ї.
Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and Eloth on the shore of the sea, in the land of Edom.
І прислав йому Хура́м через своїх рабів кораблі́ та рабів, що знали море. І прийшли вони з Соломоновими рабами до Офіру, і взяли́ звідти чотири сотні й п'ятдеся́т талантів золота, і приве́зли до царя Соломона.
