І сказав намісник Неемія, і священик учитель Ездра й Левити, що вияснювали наро́дові, до всього наро́ду: „День цей — святий він для Господа, Бога вашого, — не будьте в жало́бі й не плачте!“ Бо плакав увесь наро́д, як почув слова Зако́ну.

Тоді начальник Неємія, священик та Езра й левіти, що вчили народ, сказали до свого народу: «Цей день — святий Господові, Богові вашому; не сумуйте й не плачте!» — бо ввесь народ плакав, слухаючи слова закону.

Неемія, Ездра (священик і писар) і левіти, які повчали народ, говорили, вони сказали всьому народові: Це — святий день Господу, нашому Богові, не плачте і не ридайте! Оскільки весь народ плакав, коли вони почули слова закону.

And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law. -
