Псалом Аса́фів. Бог на Божім зібра́нні стоїть, серед богів Він судить:

For the choir director: A psalm of Asaph, to be accompanied by a stringed instrument.a

Sing praises to God, our strength.
Sing to the God of Jacob.

„Аж доки ви будете несправедливо судити, і доки бу́дете ви підіймати обличчя безбожних? Се́ла.

Sing! Beat the tambourine.
Play the sweet lyre and the harp.

Розсуді́те нужде́нного та сироту́, оправдайте убогого та бідаря́,

Blow the ram’s horn at new moon,
and again at full moon to call a festival!

порятуйте нужде́нного та бідака́, збережіть з руки несправедливих!“

For this is required by the decrees of Israel;
it is a regulation of the God of Jacob.

Не пізнали та не зрозуміли, у те́мряві ходять вони. Всі основи землі захита́лись.

He made it a law for Israelb
when he attacked Egypt to set us free.
I heard an unknown voice say,

Я сказав був: „Ви — боги, і сини ви Всевишнього всі,

“Now I will take the load from your shoulders;
I will free your hands from their heavy tasks.

та однак повмира́єте ви, як люди́на, і попа́даєте, як кожен із вельмо́ж“.

You cried to me in trouble, and I saved you;
I answered out of the thundercloud
and tested your faith when there was no water at Meribah.

Устань же, о Боже, та землю суди, бо у вла́ді Твоїй всі наро́ди!

“Listen to me, O my people, while I give you stern warnings.
O Israel, if you would only listen to me!
