Які любі осе́лі Твої, Господи Савао́те!
For behold, thine enemies make a tumult; and they that hate thee lift up the head.
Зату́жена та омліва́є душа моя за подві́р'ями Господа, моє серце та тіло моє линуть до Бога Живо́го!
They take crafty counsel against thy people, and consult against thy hidden ones:
І пташка знахо́дить домі́вку, і кубло́ собі ла́стівка, де кладе пташеня́та свої, при жертівниках Твоїх, Господи Саваоте, Ца́рю мій і Боже мій!
They say, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, and let the name of Israel be mentioned no more.
Блаже́нні, хто ме́шкає в домі Твоїм, — вони будуть пові́ки хвали́ти Тебе́! Се́ла.
For they have consulted together with one heart: they have made an alliance together against thee.
Блаже́нна люди́на, що в Тобі має силу свою́, блаженні, що в їхньому серці дороги до Те́бе,
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagarites;

Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia, with the inhabitants of Tyre;

Asshur also is joined with them: they are an arm to the sons of Lot. Selah.
Господи, Боже Саваоте, — послухай молитву мою, почуй, Боже Яковів! Се́ла.
Do unto them as to Midian; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the torrent of Kishon:

Who were destroyed at Endor; they became as dung for the ground.
Ліпший бо день на подві́р'ях Твоїх, аніж тисяча в іншому місці, — я б вибрав сиді́ти при порозі дому Бога мого, аніж жити в наме́тах безбожности!
Make their nobles as Oreb and as Zeeb; and all their chiefs as Zebah and as Zalmunna.
Бо сонце та щит — Господь, Бог! Господь дає ми́лість та славу, добра не відмовля́є усім, хто в неви́нності хо́дить.
For they have said, Let us take to ourselves God's dwelling-places in possession.
