Thou shalt not follow the multitude for evil; neither shalt thou answer in a cause, to go after the multitude to pervert [judgment].
Коли стрінеш вола свого ворога або осла його, що заблудив, то конче повернеш його йому.
-- If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt certainly bring it back to him.
Коли побачиш осла свого ворога, що лежить під тягаре́м своїм, то не зага́їшся помогти йому, — конче поможеш ра́зом із ним.
If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under its burden, beware of leaving [it] to him: thou shalt certainly loosen [it] with him.
Не перегинай суду на бік вбогого свого́ в його по́зові.
Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
Від неправдивої справи відда́лишся, а чистого й справедливого не забий, бо Я не всправедливлю несправедливого.
Thou shalt keep far from the cause of falsehood; and the innocent and righteous slay not; for I will not justify the wicked.
А хабара́ не візьмеш, бо хаба́р осліплює зрячих і викривляє слова справедливих.
And thou shalt take no bribe; for the bribe blindeth those whose eyes are open, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
А прихо́дька не будеш тиснути, бож ви познали душу прихо́дька, бо самі були прихо́дьками в єгипетськім кра́ї.
And the stranger thou shalt not oppress; for ye know the spirit of the stranger, for ye have been strangers in the land of Egypt.
І шість літ будеш сі́яти землю свою, і будеш збирати її врожай,

And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and gather in its produce;

а сьомого — опустиш її та полишиш її, і будуть їсти вбогі народу твого, а позостале по них буде їсти польова́ звірина́. Так само зробиш для виноградинка твого, і для оливки твоєї.
but in the seventh thou shalt let it rest and lie [fallow], that the poor of thy people may eat [of it]; and what they leave, the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thine olive-tree.
Шість день будеш робити діла́ свої, а сьомого дня спочи́неш, щоб відпочив віл твій, і осел твій, і щоб відідхнув син невільниці твоєї й прихо́дько.
-- Six days thou shalt do thy work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest; that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger may be refreshed.

Будеш дотримувати свято Опрі́сноків; сім день будеш їсти опрісноки, як наказав тобі, окресленого часу місяця авіва, бо в нім ти був вийшов з Єгипту. І не будете являтися перед лицем Моїм з порожніми руками.
Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread, (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I have commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt; and none shall appear in my presence empty;)
І свято жнив первопло́ду праці твоєї, що сієш на полі. І свято збира́ння при закінченні року, коли ти збираєш з поля працю свою.
and the feast of harvest, the first-fruits of thy labours which thou hast sown in the field, and the feast of in-gathering, at the end of the year, when thou gatherest in thy labours out of the field.
Три рази на рік буде являтися ввесь чоловічий рід твій перед лицем Владики Господа.
Three times in the year all thy males shall appear in the presence of the Lord Jehovah.
Не будеш прино́сити крови жертви Моєї на квашенім, а лій Моєї святкової жертви не буде ночува́ти аж до ра́нку.
Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my feast remain all night until the morning.
Поча́тки первопло́ду твоєї землі принесеш до дому Господа, Бога твого. Не будеш варити ягняти в молоці його матері.
The first of the first-fruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of Jehovah thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in its mother's milk.

Стережися перед лицем Його, і слухайся Його голосу! Не протився Йому, бо Він не проба́чить вашого гріха, — бо Ім'я́ Моє в Ньому
Be careful in his presence, and hearken unto his voice: do not provoke him, for he will not forgive your transgressions; for my name is in him.
Коли ж справді послухаєш ти Його голосу, і вчиниш усе, що говорю́, то Я буду ворогува́ти проти ворогів твоїх, і буду гноби́ти твоїх гноби́телів.
But if thou shalt diligently hearken unto his voice, and do all that I shall say, then I will be an enemy to thine enemies, and an adversary to thine adversaries.
Бо Мій Ангол ходитиме перед лицем твоїм, і запрова́дить тебе до амореянина, і хіттеянина, і періззеянина, і ханаанеянина, хіввеянина, і євусеянина, — а Я зни́щу його.
For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites, the Hivites and the Jebusites; and I will cut them off.
Не будеш вклонятися їхнім бога́м, і служити їм не будеш, і не будеш чинити за вчинками їх, бо конче порозбиваєш і конче поламаєш їхні стовпи́ для богів.
Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their deeds; but thou shalt utterly destroy them, and utterly shatter their statues.
І будеш служити ти Господе́ві, Богові своєму, і Він поблагосло́вить твій хліб та воду твою, і з-посеред тебе усуне хворо́бу.
And ye shall serve Jehovah your God; and he shall bless thy bread and thy water; and I will take sickness away from thy midst.
У твоїм кра́ї не буде такої, що скидає плода́, ані неплідної. Число твоїх днів Я доповню.
There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land; the number of thy days will I fulfil.
Свій страх пошлю перед лицем твоїм, і приведу в замішання ввесь цей наро́д, що ти ввійдеш між ньо́го. І всіх ворогів твоїх оберну́ до тебе поти́лицею.
I will send my fear before thee, and confound every people to which thou comest, and will make all thine enemies turn their back to thee.
І пошлю ше́ршня перед тобою, і він вижене перед тобою хіввеянина, ханаанеянина та хіттеянина.
And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
Не вижену їх перед тобою в однім році, щоб не став той край спусто́шеним, і не розмно́жилася на тебе польова́ звірина́.
I will not drive them out from before thee in one year: lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
Помалу Я буду їх виганяти перед тобою, аж поки ти розро́дишся, і пося́деш цей край.
By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou art fruitful, and possess the land.
І покладу́ границю твою від моря Червоного й аж до моря Филистимського, і від пустині аж до річки, бо дам в вашу руку ме́шканців цього кра́ю, — і ти виженеш їх перед собою.
And I will set thy bounds from the Red Sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness unto the river; for I will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, that thou mayest dispossess them from before thee.
Не складай умови з ними та з їхніми бога́ми.
Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
