Isaiah 11

    І ви́йде Пагі́нчик із пня Єссе́євого, і Галу́зка дасть плід із корі́ння його.

    The Reign of Jesse’s Offspring

    There shall come forth a [a]Rod from the [b]stem of Jesse,
    And a Branch shall [c]grow out of his roots.

    І спочи́не на Нім Дух Господній, — дух мудрости й розуму, дух поради й лица́рства, дух пізна́ння та стра́ху Господнього.
  • 2
    The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
    The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
    The Spirit of counsel and might,
    The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

    Його уподо́бання — в страху́ Господньому, і Він не на погляд оче́й своїх буде судити, і не на по́слух уше́й Своїх буде рішати,

    His delight is in the fear of the Lord,
    And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,
    Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
  • 4
    але буде судити убогих за правдою, і правосу́ддя чини́тиме слушно суми́рним землі. І вдарить Він землю жезло́м Своїх уст, а ві́ддихом губ Своїх смерть заподі́є безбожному.

    But with righteousness He shall judge the poor,
    And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
    He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,
    And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.

    І ста́неться поясом клу́бів Його справедливість, вірність же — поясом сте́гон Його!

    Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins,
    And faithfulness the belt of His waist.
  • 6
    І заме́шкає вовк із вівце́ю, і буде лежати панте́ра з козля́м, і будуть ра́зом телятко й левчу́к, та теля відго́доване, а дитина мала їх води́тиме!

    “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
    The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
    The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
    And a little child shall lead them.
  • 7
    А корова й ведмідь будуть па́стися ра́зом, разом бу́дуть лежати їхні діти, і лев буде їсти солому, немов та худоба!

    The cow and the bear shall graze;
    Their young ones shall lie down together;
    And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
  • 8
    І буде ба́витися немовля́тко над діркою гада, і відня́те від перс дитинча́ простягне́ свою руку над но́ру гадюки, —

    The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole,
    And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den.

    не вчинять лихого та шкоди не зроблять на всій святій Моїй горі, бо земля буде повна пізна́ння Господнього так, як море вода покриває!

    They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,
    For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord
    As the waters cover the sea.

    І станеться в день той: до Кореня Єссеєвого, — що стане пра́пором наро́дам, — погани звертатися будуть до Нього, і буде славою місце спочи́нку Його!

    “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse,
    Who shall stand as a banner to the people;
    For the Gentiles shall seek Him,
    And His resting place shall be glorious.”

    І станеться в день той, і зно́ву подруге простя́гне Господь Свою руку, щоб набу́ти оста́нок наро́ду Свого, що поли́шиться з Ашшуру й з Єгипту, і з Патросу та з Етіопії, і з Еламу й з Шін'ару, і з Хамату, та з морських островів.

    It shall come to pass in that day
    That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time
    To recover the remnant of His people who are left,
    From Assyria and Egypt,
    From Pathros and Cush,
    From Elam and Shinar,
    From Hamath and the [d]islands of the sea.

    І пога́нам підійме Він пра́пора, і згрома́дить вигна́нців Ізраїля, і розпоро́шення Юди збере з чотирьох країв сві́ту!

    He will set up a banner for the nations,
    And will [e]assemble the outcasts of Israel,
    And gather together the dispersed of Judah
    From the four [f]corners of the earth.
  • 13
    І спи́ниться за́здрість Єфрема, і ви́тяті будуть супротивники Юди, — не буде вже за́здрити Юді Єфре́м, а Юда не бу́де гноби́ти Єфрема.

    Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart,
    And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off;
    Ephraim shall not envy Judah,
    And Judah shall not harass Ephraim.
  • 14
    І вони полетять на плече филисти́млян до моря, пограбують гурто́м синів сходу, на Едо́ма й Моа́ва вони накладу́ть свою руку, і діти Аммо́на їх слухати будуть.

    But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west;
    Together they shall plunder the [g]people of the East;
    They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab;
    And the people of Ammon shall obey them.
  • 15
    I вчинить закля́ттям Господь зато́ку моря Єгипетського, і руку Свою простягне́ на ріку́ в сильнім вітрі Своїм, і на сім пото́ків розділить її, й буде можна її у взутті́ перехо́дити.

    The Lord will utterly [h]destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt;
    With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over [i]the River,
    And strike it in the seven streams,
    And make men cross over [j]dry-shod.

    І буде широ́ка доро́га для ре́шти наро́ду Його, що з Ашшу́ру зоста́неться, як була для Ізраїля в день, коли він вихо́див із кра́ю єги́петського.

    There will be a highway for the remnant of His people
    Who will be left from Assyria,
    As it was for Israel
    In the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.
