Біда, рев числе́нних наро́дів, — гурко́чуть, як гу́ркіт морі́в, і галас племе́н, — вони галасують, як гу́ркіт міцної води.

Який же шум численних народів! Вони шумлять, неначе море шумить. І що за ревіння племен! Ревуть, немов великі ревуть води.
