Бо до мене Господь сказав так: Як му́ркає лев чи левчу́к над своєю здоби́ччю, хоч покликана буде на нього юрба́ пастухів, він голосу їхнього не лякається, та не боїться їхнього крику, — так зі́йде Господь Саваот воюва́ти на Сіонській горі та на взгі́р'ї її!

Бо так сказав Господь до мене: «Як реве лев або левеня над здобиччю своєю, і хоча б ціла юрба пастухів зібралася проти нього, крику їхнього не боїться, галасу їхнього не страхається, так Господь сил зійде воювати на гору Сіон і на його пагорб.

Бо ось що сказав менї Господь: Як той лев, як левин щенюк, ревучи над своїм уловом, не здрігнеться, хоча б і цїла громада пастухів на його кричала, й не вступиться перед їх многотою, так і Господь сил зійде, воюватись за Сиона, й за гору свою. -
Адже так сказав мені Господь: Так, як лев чи левеня ричить над здобиччю, яку схоплять, — він заричав над нею, аж гори наповнилися його голосом, і принишкли, і злякалися великої люті, — так і Господь Саваот зійде воювати на гору Сіон, на її гори.

Ибо так сказал мне Господь: как лев, как скимен, ревущий над своею добычею, хотя бы множество пастухов кричало на него, от крика их не содрогнётся и множеству их не уступит, — так Господь Саваоф сойдёт сразиться за гору Сион и за холм его.

For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.

This is what the Lord says to me:
“As a lion growls,
a great lion over its prey —
and though a whole band of shepherds
is called together against it,
it is not frightened by their shouts
or disturbed by their clamor —
so the Lord Almighty will come down
to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights. -
Так говорит мне Господь:
— Когда лев рычит,
огромный лев над своей добычей,
пусть даже созовут на него
множество пастухов,
он их криков не испугается
и не встревожится из-за их шума.
Так же Господь Сил сойдет,
чтобы сражаться на горе Сион
и на ее высотах. -
God Will Deliver Jerusalem
For thus the Lord has spoken to me:
“As a lion roars,
And a young lion over his prey
(When a multitude of shepherds is summoned against him,
He will not be afraid of their voice
Nor be disturbed by their noise),
So the Lord of hosts will come down
To fight for Mount Zion and for its hill. -

“When a strong young lion
stands growling over a sheep it has killed,
it is not frightened by the shouts and noise
of a whole crowd of shepherds.
In the same way, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies
will come down and fight on Mount Zion.
