Хто нашій спасе́нній тій звістці повірив, і над ким відкрива́лось раме́но Господнє?
The Suffering Servant
Who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of Jehovah been revealed?

Бо Він виріс перед Ним, мов галу́зка, і мов корінь з сухої землі, — не мав Він прина́ди й не мав пишноти́; і ми Його бачили, та краси́ не було, щоб Його пожада́ти!
For he shall grow up before him as a tender sapling, and as a root out of dry ground: he hath no form nor lordliness, and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Він пого́рджений був, Його люди покинули, стра́дник, знайо́мий з хоро́бами, і від Якого обличчя ховали, пого́рджений, і ми не цінува́ли Його.
He is despised and left alone of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, and like one from whom [men] hide their faces; -- despised, and we esteemed him not.
Направду ж Він не́мочі наші узяв і наші болі поніс, а ми уважали Його за пора́неного, ніби Бог Його вдарив поразами й мучив.
Surely *he* hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; and we, we did regard him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
А Він був ране́ний за наші гріхи, за наші прови́ни Він му́чений був, — кара на Ньому була за наш мир, Його ж ра́нами нас уздоро́влено!
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.
Усі ми блуди́ли, немов ті овечки, розпоро́шились кожен на власну дорогу, — і на Нього Господь покла́в гріх усіх нас!
All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah hath laid upon him the iniquity of us all.
Він гно́блений був та пони́жуваний, але уст Своїх не відкрива́в. Як ягня був прова́джений Він на зако́лення, й як овечка перед стрижія́ми своїми мовчи́ть, так і Він не відкрива́в Своїх уст.
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, but he opened not his mouth; he was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and was as a sheep dumb before her shearers, and he opened not his mouth.
Від у́тиску й су́ду Він за́браний був, і хто збагне́ Його рід? Бо з кра́ю живих Він віді́рваний був, за прови́ни Мого наро́ду на смерть Його да́но.
He was taken from oppression and from judgment; and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living; for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
Із злочинцями ви́значили Йому гро́ба Його, та Його поховали в багатого, хоч провини Він не учини́в, і не було в Його у́стах ома́ни.
A Grave Assigned
And [men] appointed his grave with the wicked, but he was with the rich in his death, because he had done no violence, neither was there guile in his mouth.

Та зво́лив Господь, щоб поби́ти Його, щоб му́ки завда́но Йому. Якщо ж душу Свою покладе́ Він як жертву за гріх, то побачить насі́ння, і житиме довгії дні, і за́мір Господній рукою Його буде мати пово́дження!
Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath subjected [him] to suffering. When thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see a seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.
Він через му́ки Своєї душі буде бачити плід, та й наси́титься. Справедливий, Мій Слуга, оправдає пізна́нням Своїм багатьох, і їхні гріхи́ понесе́.
He shall see of [the fruit of] the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant instruct many in righteousness; and *he* shall bear their iniquities.
Тому то дам у́діл Йому між великими, і з поту́жними буде ділити здобич за те, що на смерть віддав душу Свою, і з злочинцями був порахо́ваний, хоч гріх багатьо́х Сам носи́в і заступа́всь за злочинців!
Therefore will I assign him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong: because he hath poured out his soul unto death, and was reckoned with the transgressors; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
