Бо те́мрява землю вкрива́є, а мо́рок — наро́ди, та сяє Господь над тобою, і слава Його над тобою з'явля́ється!

І пі́дуть наро́ди за світлом твоїм, а царі — за ясністю ся́йва твого́.

Здійми́ свої очі навко́ло й побач: усі вони зі́брані, і до тебе ідуть; сини твої йдуть іздале́ка, а до́чок твоїх на рука́х он несуть!

Побачиш тоді — і роз'я́снишся ти, сполохне́ться й поши́ршає серце твоє, бо зве́рнеться мо́рське бага́тство до тебе, і при́йде до тебе багатство наро́дів!
Бе́зліч верблю́дів закриє тебе, молоді ті верблю́ди з Мідія́ну й Ефи́, — усі вони при́йдуть із Ше́ви, носитимуть золото й ла́дан та хва́ли Господні звіща́тимуть.

Всі отари кеда́рські зберу́ться до тебе, барани́ невайо́тські послу́жать тобі, — вони пі́дуть усі на Мій ві́втар, як жертва приє́мна, і Я просла́влю дім слави Своєї!

І мури твої побуду́ють чужи́нці, а їхні царі́ тобі бу́дуть служи́ти, бо в за́палі гніву Свого́ Я був ура́зив тебе, а в Своїм уподо́банні змилуюся над тобою!

І зі́гнуті при́йдуть до тебе сини твоїх кри́вдників, і кла́нятись будуть до стіп твоїх ніг усі нена́висники, і тебе будуть кликати: Місто Господнє, Сіон Святого Ізраїлевого!

За те, що була ти поки́нута та осору́жна, о до́чко Сіону, і через тебе ніхто не ходив, то вчиню́ тебе славою вічною, радістю з роду в рід!

І бу́деш ти ссати молоко із наро́дів, і гру́ди царів будеш сса́ти, і пізнаєш, що Я — то Господь, твій Спаси́тель, а твій Викупи́тель — Поту́жний Яковів!

Замість міді впрова́джу Я золото, і замість заліза впрова́джу срібло́, і замість дерева — мідь, а за́мість камі́ння — залізо, і дозо́ром твоїм зроблю мир, твоїми ж начальниками — справедливість!

В твоїм кра́ї не буде вже чуте наси́лля, руїна й спусто́шення в ме́жах твоїх, і назве́ш свої му́ри спасі́нням, а брами свої — похвало́ю!

Удень сонце не буде тобі вже за світло, і не буде світити тобі місяць за ся́йво, бо бу́де тобі вічним світлом Госпо́дь, а твій Бог — за окра́су твою!
Не за́йде вже сонце твоє, і місяць твій вже не схова́ється, бо бу́де тобі вічним світлом Госпо́дь, і дні жало́би твоєї покі́нчаться!
