Бо напевно ви́конаємо кожне те слово, що виходить із наших уст, — щоб кадити небесній цариці й лити їй литі жертви, як робили ми та батьки́ наші, царі наші та зверхники наші в Юдиних містах та на вулицях Єрусалиму. І наси́чувалися ми хлібом, і було нам добре, а зла ми не бачили.

Ми таки будемо чинити все те, що сказали уста наші: ми будемо кадити цариці небесній і приносити їй ливні жертви, як це чинили ми й батьки наші, царі наші й князі наші по містах Юдеї та по вулицях єрусалимських. Тоді ми були ситі й щасливі і не знали лиха.

А невідмінно чинити мемо те, що сказали уста наші, й будемо кадити богинї небесній, й приносити їй ливну жертву, як се ми чинили, ми й отцї наші, царі наші й усї князї наші по городах у Юдеї й по улицях Ерусалимських; а за те були ми тодї ситі й щасливі та й не знали лиха. -
І послав Седекія, і покликав його, і запитав його цар потай, щоб сказав, чи є слово від Господа, і той сказав: Є! Ти будеш виданий у руки царя Вавилону!

но непременно будем делать всё то, что вышло из уст наших, чтобы кадить богине неба и возливать ей возлияния, как мы делали, мы и отцы наши, цари наши и князья наши, в городах Иудеи и на улицах Иерусалима, потому что тогда мы были сыты и счастливы и беды не видели.

But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

We will certainly do everything we said we would: We will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven and will pour out drink offerings to her just as we and our ancestors, our kings and our officials did in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem.
