Vision of God’s Glory Departing from the Temple
Then I looked, and behold, in the expanse that was over the heads of the cherubim something like a sapphire stone, in appearance resembling a throne, appeared above them.

І Він промовив до того чоловіка, одя́гненого в льняне́, та й сказав: „Увійди поміж коле́са під Херувимом, і напо́вни свої жмені вугли́нами огню з-поміж Херувимів, і кинь на місто!“ І він увійшов перед моїми очима.
And He spoke to the man clothed in linen and said, “Enter between the whirling wheels under the cherubim and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim and scatter them over the city.” And he entered in my sight.
А Херувими стояли з правого боку дому, коли вхо́див чоловік, і хмара напо́внила вну́трішнє подвір'я.
Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the temple when the man entered, and the cloud filled the inner court.
І підняла́ся слава Господня з-над Херувима на поріг дому, і напо́внився дім хмарою, а подвір'я напо́внилося сяйвом Господньої слави.
Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub to the threshold of the temple, and the temple was filled with the cloud and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the LORD.
А шум крил Херувимів був чутий аж до зовнішнього подві́р'я, як голос Бога Всемогу́тнього, коли Він говорить.
Moreover, the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God Almighty when He speaks.
І сталося, коли Він наказав чоловікові, одя́гненому в льняне́, кажучи: „Візьми огонь поміж коле́сами з-під Херувимів“, то той прийшов і став при ко́лесі.
It came about when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, “Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim,” he entered and stood beside a wheel.
І Херувим простягнув свою руку з-поміж Херувимів до огню, що поміж Херувимами, і взяв, і дав до жмені одя́гненого в льняне́, а той узяв і вийшов.
Then the cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the fire which was between the cherubim, took some and put it into the hands of the one clothed in linen, who took it and went out.
І показалася в Херувимів подоба лю́дської руки під їхніми кри́лами.
The cherubim appeared to have the form of a man’s hand under their wings.
І я побачив, аж ось чотири ко́лесі при Херувимах, по одно́му ко́лесі при кожному Херувимі, а вид тих коле́с, ніби вигляд каменя хризолі́та.
Then I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like the gleam of a Tarshish stone.
А їхній вигляд — подоба одна чотирьом їм, як коли б ко́лесо було в ко́лесі.
As for their appearance, all four of them had the same likeness, as if one wheel were within another wheel.
В ході́ своїй вони йшли на чотири свої боки, не оберта́лися в ході́ своїй, бо до того місця, куди обе́рнеться голова, за нею йшли вони, не оберта́лися в ході́ своїй.
When they moved, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went; but they followed in the direction which they faced, without turning as they went.
А все їхнє тіло, і їхня спи́на, і їхні руки, і їхні кри́ла, і ті коле́са були повні оче́й навколо, всі чотири мали коле́са.
Their whole body, their backs, their hands, their wings and the wheels were full of eyes all around, the wheels belonging to all four of them.
А ці коле́са були кликані при мені „Ґалґал“.
The wheels were called in my hearing, the whirling wheels.
А в кожного чотири обличчі: обличчя одно́го — обличчя Херувима, обличчя другого — обличчя люди́ни, а третій — обличчя ле́ва, а четвертий — обличчя орла.
And each one had four faces. The first face was the face of a cherub, the second face was the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
І підняли́ся ті Херувими. Це та жива істота, яку я бачив на річці Кева́р.
Then the cherubim rose up. They are the living beings that I saw by the river Chebar.
А коли йшли ті Херувими, то йшли й ті коле́са при них, а коли ті Херувими підіймають свої крила, щоб знятись із землі, не відверта́ються також ті коле́са від них.
Now when the cherubim moved, the wheels would go beside them; also when the cherubim lifted up their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels would not turn from beside them.
Коли ті ставали, ставали й вони, а коли ті підіймалися, підіймалися й вони, бо в них був дух живої істоти.
When the cherubim stood still, the wheels would stand still; and when they rose up, the wheels would rise with them, for the spirit of the living beings was in them.
І вийшла слава Господня і з-над порога дому, і стала над Херувимами.
Then the glory of the LORD departed from the threshold of the temple and stood over the cherubim.
І підняли́ Херувими свої кри́ла, і зняли́ся з землі на моїх оча́х, коли вони йшли, а ті коле́са побіч них, і стали при вході до схі́дньої брами Господнього дому, а слава Ізраїлевого Бога зверху над ними.
When the cherubim departed, they lifted their wings and rose up from the earth in my sight with the wheels beside them; and they stood still at the entrance of the east gate of the LORD’S house, and the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them.
Це та жива істота, яку я бачив під Богом Ізраїлевим над річкою Кева́р. І я пізнав, що це Херувими.
These are the living beings that I saw beneath the God of Israel by the river Chebar; so I knew that they were cherubim.
У кожного було по чотири обличчі, у кожного — чотири крилі́, а під їхніми кри́лами — подоба лю́дських рук.
Each one had four faces and each one four wings, and beneath their wings was the form of human hands.
