А тепер від мене видається нака́з, що кожен з наро́ду, люду та язи́ка, який скаже що згірдли́ве на Бога Шадраха, Мешаха та Авед-Неґо, буде почетверто́ваний, а дім його обе́рнений буде на сміття́, бо немає іншого Бога, що міг би так урятувати, як оце“.

Бо згрішили ми, вчинили беззаконство, від тебе відступивши; ми згрішили у всьому й заповідей твоїх не слухали.

Тим же то дається від мене приказ, щоб кожного спроміж всякого народу, племени чи язика, хто б виповів зневагу проти Бога Седрахового, Мисахового й Авденагового, порубано на шматки, а його дім обернено в розвалища; бо нема иншого Бога, що міг би так спасати. -
Адже ми згрішили, і ми були неправедні, бо ми відступили від Тебе, і ми згрішили в усьому, і ми не послухалися Твоїх заповідей,

И от меня даётся повеление, чтобы из всякого народа, племени и языка кто произнесёт хулу на Бога Седраха, Мисаха и Авденаго, был изрублен в куски, и дом его обращён в развалины, ибо нет иного бога, который мог бы так спасать.

Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
