І Господь промовляв до Мойсея та до Аарона, гово́рячи їм:
Clean and Unclean Animals
And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,
And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,
„Промовляйте до Ізраїлевих синів, ка́жучи: Оце та звірина́, що будете їсти зо всієї худоби, що на землі:
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the animals which ye shall eat of all the beasts which are on the earth.
Кожну з худоби, що має розді́лені копи́та, і що має копита роздво́єні розривом, що жує жу́йку, — її будете їсти.
Whatever hath cloven hoofs, and feet quite split open, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts -- that shall ye eat.
Тільки цього не будете їсти з тих, що жують жуйку, і з тих, що мають розділені копи́та: верблю́да, бо він жує жуйку, та розділених копит не має, — нечистий він для вас.
Only these shall ye not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those with cloven hoofs: the camel, for it cheweth the cud, but hath not cloven hoofs -- it shall be unclean unto you;
І тушка́нчика, бо він жує жуйку, та не має розді́лених копи́т, — нечистий він для вас.
and the rock-badger, for it cheweth the cud, but hath not cloven hoofs -- it shall be unclean unto you;
І зайця, бо він жує жуйку, та не має розді́лених копит, — нечистий він для вас.
and the hare, for it cheweth the cud, but hath not cloven hoofs -- it shall be unclean unto you;
І свині́, бо вона має розділені ра́тиці, і має ра́тиці роздво́єні розри́вом, та жуйки не жує, — нечиста вона для вас.
and the swine, for it hath cloven hoofs, and feet quite split open, but it cheweth not the cud -- it shall be unclean unto you.
Їхнього м'яса не будете їсти, а до їхнього па́дла не будете доторкатися, — нечисте воно для вас.
Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch: they shall be unclean unto you.
Оце будете їсти зо всього, що в воді: усе, що має плавці́ та луску́ в воді, у морях та в річка́х, — їх будете їсти.
These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatever hath fins and scales in waters, in seas and in rivers, these shall ye eat;
А все, що не має плавці́в та луски́ в морях і в річках, зо всього, що рої́ться в воді, і зо всього, що пливає в воді, — гидо́та вони для вас!
but all that have not fins and scales in seas and in rivers, of all that swarm in the waters, and of every living soul which is in the waters -- they shall be an abomination unto you.
І вони будуть гидо́та для вас, — їхнього м'яса не будете їсти, а їхнього па́дла будете бри́дитися.
They shall be even an abomination unto you: of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase ye shall have in abomination.
Усе, що не має плавців та луски́ в воді, — гидота воно для вас.
Whatever in the waters hath no fins and scales, that shall be an abomination unto you.
А з пта́ства будете бри́дитися оцього, — не будете їх їсти, гидота вони: орла, грифа й морського орла,
And these shall ye have in abomination of the fowls; they shall not be eaten; an abomination shall they be: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the sea-eagle,
і струся, і сови, і яструба за родом його,
and the female ostrich and the male ostrich, and the sea-gull, and the hawk, after its kind;
і бусла, чаплі за родом її, і одуда, і нетопира.
and the stork; the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.
Уся комашня́, що ходить на чотирьох, — гидота вона для вас.
Every winged crawling thing that goeth upon all four shall be an abomination unto you.
Тільки те будете їсти зо всієї комашні, що ходить на чотирьох, що має голінки вище своїх ніг, щоб ними скакати на землі.
Yet these shall ye eat of every winged crawling thing that goeth upon all four: those which have legs above their feet with which to leap upon the earth.
Оці серед них будете їсти: сарану́ за родом її, і сол'ам за родом його, і харґол за родом його, і хаґав за родом його.
These shall ye eat of them: the arbeh after its kind, and the solam after its kind, and the hargol after its kind, and the hargab after its kind.
А вся га́дина летюча, що має чотири ноги, — гидота вона для вас.
But every winged crawling thing that hath four feet shall be an abomination unto you.
І через них ви будете ставати нечисті: кожен, хто доторкнеться до їхнього па́дла, буде нечистий аж до вечора.
And by these ye shall make yourselves unclean; whoever toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.
А кожен, хто понесе що з їхнього падла, випере одежу свою, і буде нечистий аж до вечора.
And whoever carrieth [ought] of their carcase shall wash his garments, and be unclean until the even.
Щодо всякої худоби, що має розділене копи́то, і що не має роздвоєного розривом копита, і жуйки не жує, — нечисті вони для вас. Кожен, хто доторкнеться до них, буде нечистий.
Every beast that hath cloven hoofs, but not feet quite split open, nor cheweth the cud, shall be unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
А кожне серед усякої звірини́, що ходить на лапах своїх, що ходить на чотирьох, — нечисті вони для вас. Кожен, хто доторкнеться до їхнього па́дла, буде нечистий аж до вечора.
And whatever goeth on its paws, among all manner of beasts that go upon all four, those are unclean unto you: whoever toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.
А хто носить їхнє па́дло, випере одежу свою, і буде нечистий аж до вечора. Нечисті вони для вас.
And he that carrieth their carcase shall wash his garments, and be unclean until the even: they shall be unclean unto you.
А оце вам нечисте серед плазуні́в, що плазу́ють по землі: кріт, і миша, і ящірка за родом її,
And these shall be unclean unto you among the crawling things which crawl on the earth: the mole, and the field-mouse, and the lizard, after its kind;
і ховрах, і щур, і слимак, і їжак, і тхір.
and the groaning lizard, and the great red lizard, and the climbing lizard, and the chomet, and the chameleon.
Оці нечисті для вас серед усього плазуючого. Кожен, хто доторкнеться до них, коли вони мертві, буде нечистий аж до вечора.
These shall be unclean unto you among all that crawl: whoever toucheth them when they are dead, shall be unclean until the even.
І все, що впаде на нього, коли вони мертві, буде нечисте, кожна річ, — з дерева, або з одежі, або зо шкури, або з грубої ткани́ни, кожна річ, що вживається до праці, — в воду треба покласти їх, і будуть нечисті аж до вечора, а пото́му стануть чистими.
And on whatever any of them when they are dead doth fall, it shall be unclean; all vessels of wood, or garment, or skin, or sack, every vessel wherewith work is done -- it shall be put into water, and be unclean until the even; then shall it be clean.
А всякий гли́няний по́суд, що з них упаде що до його сере́дини, — усе, що в сере́дині його, стане нечисте, а його розі́б'єте.
And every earthen vessel into which [any] of them falleth -- whatever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.
Кожна ї́жа, що їсться, на якій була вода з такого посуду, буде нечиста; а кожен напі́й, що п'ється, у кожнім такім по́суді стане нечистим.
All food that is eaten on which [such] water hath come shall be unclean; and all drink that is drunk shall be unclean, in every [such] vessel.
І все, що на нього впаде з їхнього па́дла, стане нечисте: піч та огнище буде розва́лене, — вони нечисті, і нечисті будуть для вас.
And everything where upon [any part] of their carcase falleth shall be unclean; oven and hearth shall be broken down: they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.
Тільки джерело́ та яма, збір води, бу́дуть чисті. А хто доторкнеться до їхнього падла, буде нечистий.
Nevertheless, a spring or a well, a quantity of water, shall be clean. But he that toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.
А коли що впаде з їхнього падла на всяке насіння сівби́, що сіється, — чисте воно.
And if any part of their carcase fall upon any sowing-seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean;
А коли буде налита вода на насіння, і впаде на нього з їхнього падла, нечисте воно для вас.
but if water have been put on the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
А коли помре що з худоби, що вона на ї́жу для вас, то хто доторкнеться па́дла її, той буде нечистий аж до вечора.
And if any beast which is to you for food die, he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
А хто їсть із па́дла її, той випере одежу свою, і буде нечистий аж до вечора. І хто носить па́дло її, той випере одежу свою, і буде нечистий аж до вечора.
And he that eateth of its carcase shall wash his garments, and be unclean until the even: he also that carrieth its carcase shall wash his garments, and be unclean until the even.
А все плазу́юче, що плазу́є по землі, гидота воно, — не буде їстися.
And every crawling thing which crawleth on the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
Усе, що по́взає на животі, і все, що по́взає на чотирьох, аж до всього, що багатоножне, усе плазуюче, що плазує по землі, — не будете їх їсти, бо гидота вони.
Whatever goeth on the belly, and whatever goeth on all four, and all that have a great many feet, of every manner of crawling thing which crawleth on the earth -- these ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
Не занечищуйте душ своїх усім плазуючим, що плазує, — і не зро́битеся нечисті ними, і не станете нечисті ними.
Ye shall not make yourselves abominable through any crawling thing which crawleth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.
Бо Я — Господь, Бог ваш, і ви освя́титеся, і будьте святі, бо святий Я, і не занечищуйте душ своїх усяким плазуючим, що плазує по землі.
For I am Jehovah your God; and ye shall hallow yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy; and ye shall not make yourselves unclean through any manner of crawling thing which creepeth on the earth.
Бо Я — Госпо́дь, що вивів вас із єгипетського кра́ю, щоб бути для вас Богом. І будьте святі, бо святий Я.
For I am Jehovah who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
Оце зако́н про худобу, і про пта́ство, і про всяку живу звірину́, що рухається в воді, і про всяку душу, що плазує по землі,
This is the law of cattle, and of fowl, and of every living soul that moveth in the waters, and of every soul that crawleth on the earth;
