Бо я бачу його з вершка скель, і з пагі́рків його оглядаю, — тож наро́д пробуває самітно, а серед людей не рахується.

Зверху скелі бачу його я, з високих гір на нього дивлюся. Ось народ, що окремо живе, що не до лічби з людьми іншими.

Я на його з гір високих пильно позираю, із верхів очима всюди його проводжаю. Се той люд, що від народів окрім пробуває, між народами нїкого рідного не має. -
Адже з вершин гір побачу його, і з узгір’їв спостерігатиму за ним. Ось народ поселиться окремо, і між народами не буде числитися.
