„Перелічіть усю громаду Ізраїлевих синів від віку двадцяти літ і вище за домами їхніх батьків, кожного, хто здатний до ві́йська в Ізраїлі.
“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel from twenty years old and above, by their fathers’ houses, all who are able to go to war in Israel.”
І говорив до них Мойсей та священик Елеазар у моавських степа́х над приєрихонським Йорда́ном, говорячи:
So Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho, saying:
„Перелічіть від віку двадцяти літ і вище, як наказав був Господь Мойсеєві і Ізраїлевим синам, що виходили з єгипетського кра́ю“.
“Take a census of the people from twenty years old and above, just as the Lord commanded Moses and the children of Israel who came out of the land of Egypt.”
Руви́м, перворідний Ізраїлів. Рувимові сини: Ханох — рід Ханохів, від Паллу — рід Паллуїв,
Reuben was the firstborn of Israel. The children of Reuben were: of Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;
від Хецрона — рід Хецронів, від Кармі — рід Карміїв.
of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.
Оце Руви́мові роди. І були їхні перелічені: сорок і три тисячі й сімсот і тридцять.
These are the families of the Reubenites: those who were numbered of them were forty-three thousand seven hundred and thirty.
А сини Еліявові: Немуїл, і Датан, і Авірон. Це той Дата́н та Авіро́н, покликані громади, що підбу́рювали проти Мойсея та проти Аарона в Кореєвій громаді, коли вони підбурювали на Господа.
The sons of Eliab were Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. These are the Dathan and Abiram, representatives of the congregation, who contended against Moses and Aaron in the company of Korah, when they contended against the Lord;
І відкрила земля свої уста, та й поглинула їх та Корея при смерті тієї громади, коли огонь пожер був двісті і п'ятдеся́т люда, і стали вони за ознаку.
and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up together with Korah when that company died, when the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men; and they became a sign.
Сини Симео́нові за їхніми ро́дами: від Немуїла — рід Немуїлів, від Яміна — рід Ямінів, в Яхіна — рід Яхінів,
від Зераха — рід Зерахів, від Саула — рід Саулів.
Оце Симеонові ро́ди, — двадцять і дві тисячі й двісті.
These are the families of the Simeonites: twenty-two thousand two hundred.
Сини Ґадові за їхніми ро́дами: від Цефона — рід Цефонів, від Хаґґі — рід Хаґґіїв, від Шуні — рід Шуніїв,
від Озні — рід Озніїв, від Ері — рід Еріїв,
від Арода рід Ародів, від Ар'елі — рід Ар'еліїв.
Оце ро́ди Ґадових синів, за їхнім переліченням: сорок тисяч і п'ятсо́т.
These are the families of the sons of Gad according to those who were numbered of them: forty thousand five hundred.
Сини Юдині: Ер та Онан; і помер Ер та Онан у ханаанськім Кра́ї.
The sons of Judah were Er and Onan; and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
І були Юдині сини за їхніми ро́дами: від Шели — рід Шелин, від Переца — рід Переців, від Зераха — рід Зерахів.
And the sons of Judah according to their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Perez, the family of the Parzites; of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites.
А Пе́рецеві сини були́: від Хецрона — рід Хецронів, від Хамула — рід Хамулів.
And the sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.
Оце Юдини ро́ди за їхнім переліченням: сімдеся́т і шість тисяч і п'ятсо́т.
These are the families of Judah according to those who were numbered of them: seventy-six thousand five hundred.
Сини Іссаха́рові за їхніми ро́дами: Тола — рід Толин, від Цувви — рід Цуввин,
від Яшува — рід Яшувів, від Шімрона — рід Шімронів.
Оце Іссаха́рові ро́ди за їхнім переліченням: шістдеся́т і чотири тисячі й триста.
These are the families of Issachar according to those who were numbered of them: sixty-four thousand three hundred.
Сини Завуло́нові за їхніми ро́дами: від Середа — рід Середів, від Елона — рід Елонів, від Яхлеїла — рід Яхлеїлів.
The sons of Zebulun according to their families were: of Sered, the family of the Sardites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.
Оце Завулонові роди за їхнім переліченням: шістдеся́т тисяч і п'ятсо́т.
These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those who were numbered of them: sixty thousand five hundred.
Сини Йо́сипа за їхніми ро́дами: Манасі́я та Єфре́м.
The sons of Joseph according to their families, by Manasseh and Ephraim, were:
Сини Манасі́їні: від Махіра — рід Махірів, а Махір породив Ґілеада, від Ґілеада — рід Гілеадів.
The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir begot Gilead; of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.
Оце Ґілеадові сини́: Єзер — рід Єзерів, від Хелека — рід Хелеків,
і Асріїл — рід Асріїлів, і Шехем — рід Шехемів,
of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites;
і Шеміда — рід Шемідин, і Хефер — рід Хеферів.
of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
А Целофхад, син Хеферів, не мав синів, а тільки дочо́к. А ймення дочо́к: Махла й Ноа, Хоґла, Мілка й Тірца.
Now Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
Оце ро́ди Манасіїні, а їхні перелічені: п'ятдеся́т і дві тисячі й сімсот.
These are the families of Manasseh; and those who were numbered of them were fifty-two thousand seven hundred.
Оце Єфре́мові сини́ за їхніми ро́дами: від Шутелаха — рід Шутелахів, від Бехера — рід Бехерів, від Тахана — рід Таханів.
А оце Шутелахові сини́: від Ерана — рід Еранів.
And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
Оце ро́ди Єфремових синів за їхнім переліченням: тридцять і дві тисячі і п'ятсот. Оце Йо́сипові сини́ за їхніми ро́дами.
These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those who were numbered of them: thirty-two thousand five hundred.

The sons of Benjamin according to their families were: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;
від Шефуфама — рід Шефуфамів, від Хуфама — рід Хуфамів.
А сини́ Белині були: Ард, і Нааман, від Арда — рід Ардів, від Наамана — рід Нааманів.
Оце Веніями́нові сини́ за їхніми ро́дами, а перелічені їхні: сорок і п'ять тисяч і шістсо́т.
These are the sons of Benjamin according to their families; and those who were numbered of them were forty-five thousand six hundred.
Оце Да́нові сини за їхніми ро́дами: від Шухама — рід Шухамів. Оце Данові ро́ди за їхніми родами.
Всі Шухамові ро́ди за їхнім перелі́ченням: шістдеся́т і чотири тисячі і чоти́риста.
All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those who were numbered of them, were sixty-four thousand four hundred.
Аси́рові сини́ за їхніми ро́дами: від Їмни — рід Їмнин, від Їшві рід Їшвіїв, від Берії — рід Беріїв.
The sons of Asher according to their families were: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites; of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites; of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.
Сини Берії: від Хевера — рід Хеверів, від Малкіїла — рід Малкіїлів,
Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
Оце ро́ди Аси́рових синів за їхнім переліченням: п'ятдеся́т і три тисячі й чотириста.
These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those who were numbered of them: fifty-three thousand four hundred.
Сини Нефтали́мові за їхніми ро́дами: від Яхцеїла — рід Яхцеїлів, від Ґуні — рід Ґуніїв,
від Єцера — рід Єцерів, від Шіллема — рід Шіллемів.
of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
Оце ро́ди Нефтали́мові за їхніми ро́дами й за їхнім перелі́ченням: сорок і п'ять тисяч і чотириста.
These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were numbered of them were forty-five thousand four hundred.
Оце перелічені Ізраїлевих синів: шістсот тисяч і тисяча й сімсо́т і тридцять.
These are those who were numbered of the children of Israel: six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.
Для цих буде поділений край у спа́док за числом імен.
“To these the land shall be divided as an inheritance, according to the number of names.
Числе́нному примно́жиш спа́дщину його, — а малому зме́ншиш спа́док його, кожному за переліченням його буде дана спа́дщина його.
To a large tribe you shall give a larger inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a smaller inheritance. Each shall be given its inheritance according to those who were numbered of them.
Тільки жеребко́м поділиться землю, — вони будуть володіти за іменами племе́н їхніх батьків.
But the land shall be divided by lot; they shall inherit according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.
За жеребком буде поділена спа́дщина його поміж числе́нним та мали́м.
According to the lot their inheritance shall be divided between the larger and the smaller.”
А оце перелічені Левити за їхніми ро́дами: від Ґершона — рід Ґершонів, від Кегата — рід Кегатів, від Мерарі — рід Мераріїв.
And these are those who were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
Оце роди Леві́єві: рід Левіїв, рід Хевроніїв, рід Махліїв, рід Мушіїв, рід Кореїв, а Кегат породив Амрама.
These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, and the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begot Amram.
А ймення Амрамової жінки — Йохевед, дочка́ Левіева, що вродила її Левієві жінка його в Єгипті, а вона вродила Амрамові Аарона, і Мойсея, і сестру їх Марія́м.
The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and to Amram she bore Aaron and Moses and their sister Miriam.
І вродилися Ааро́нові Надав, й Авігу, й Елеазар, й Ітамар.
To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
А Надав та Авігу померли, коли вони прино́сили чужий огонь перед Господнє лице.
And Nadab and Abihu died when they offered profane fire before the Lord.
І були́ їхні перелічені — двадцять і три тисячі, кожен чоловічої статі від місячного віку й вище; бо вони не були перелічені серед Ізраїлевих синів, — не да́на бо їм спа́дщина серед Ізраїлевих синів.
Now those who were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and above; for they were not numbered among the other children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given to them among the children of Israel.
Оце перелічені Мойсея та священика Елеаза́ра, що перелічували Ізраїлевих синів у моавських степа́х над приєрихо́нським Йорда́ном.
These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.
А серед тих не було вже нікого з перелічених Мойсея та священика Аарона, що перелічували Ізраїлевих синів на Сінайській пустині,
But among these there was not a man of those who were numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they numbered the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Sinai.
бо Господь був сказав їм: „Конче повмираєте ви на пустині“. І не позостався з них ніхто, крім Кале́ва, сина Єфуннеєвого, та Ісуса, сина Нави́нового.
For the Lord had said of them, “They shall surely die in the wilderness.” So there was not left a man of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.
