These are the statutes and ordinances, which ye shall take heed to do in the land, which Jehovah the God of thy fathers is giving thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.

Конче ви́нищите всі ті місця, що служили там люди, яких ви виганяєте, своїм богам на високих гора́х і на пагірках, та під кожним зеленим де́ревом.
Ye shall utterly destroy all the places wherein the nations which ye shall dispossess have served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree;
І розвалите їхні жертівники, і поламаєте камінні стовпи для богів, і їхні святі дере́ва попа́лите в огні, а бовва́нів їхніх богі́в порубаєте, і ви́губите їхнє ймення з того місця.
and ye shall break down their altars, and shatter their statues, and burn their Asherahs with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and ye shall destroy the names of them out of that place.
бо тільки на місці, яке вибере Господь, Бог ваш, зо всіх ваших племе́н, щоб покласти там Ім'я́ Своє, на місці перебува́ння Його будете шукати, і ти при́йдеш туди.
but unto the place which Jehovah your God will choose out of all your tribes to set his name there, his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come;
І принесе́те туди свої цілопа́лення, і свої жертви, і свої десятини та прино́шення рук своїх, і обі́тниці свої, і да́ри свої, і перворідних худоби своєї великої та худоби своєї дрібно́ї.
and thither ye shall bring your burnt-offerings and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the heave-offering of your hand, and your vows, and your voluntary-offerings, and the firstlings of your kine and of your sheep;
І будете їсти там перед лицем Господа, Бога вашого, і будете тішитися всім, до чого доторкне́ться ваша рука, ви та доми́ ваші, якими поблагослови́в тебе Господь, Бог твій.
and ye shall eat there before Jehovah your God, and ye shall rejoice, ye and your households, in all the business of your hand, wherein Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee.
Там ви не зробите так, як ми робимо сьогодні тут, — кожен усе, що́ йому здається справедливим в оча́х тільки його,
Ye shall not do after all that we do here this day, each one whatever is right in his own eyes.
бо ви дотепе́р не ввійшли до мі́сця відпочи́нку й до спа́дщини, що Господь, Бог твій, дає тобі.
For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.
А коли ви пере́йдете Йорда́н і осядете в кра́ї, що Господь, Бог ваш, дає вам на спа́дщину, і Він заспоко́їть вас від усіх ворогів ваших навколо, і ви сидітимете безпечно,
But when ye have gone over the Jordan, and dwell in the land which Jehovah your God causeth you to inherit, and when he hath given you rest from all your enemies round about, and ye dwell in safety,
то станеться, на те місце, що його ви́бере Господь, Бог ваш, щоб Ім'я́ Його перебува́ло там, туди принесете все, що я вам наказую: свої цілопа́лення, і свої жертви, десятини свої та прино́шення рук своїх, і всі добі́рні жертви обі́тниць своїх, що обіцяєте Господе́ві.
then there shall be a place which Jehovah your God will choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you: your burnt-offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave-offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye shall vow to Jehovah.
І будете ті́шитися перед лицем Господа, Бога вашого, ви й сини ваші, і до́чки ваші, і раби ваші, і невільниці ваші, і Левит, що в ваших брамах, бо нема йому частки й спа́дку з вами.
And ye shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your bondmen, and your handmaids, and the Levite that is within your gates; for he hath no portion nor inheritance with you.
Стережися, щоб не прино́сив ти своїх цілопа́лень на кожному місці, яке побачиш,
Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt-offerings in every place that thou seest;
бо тільки на тому місці, яке вибере Господь в одно́му з племе́н твоїх, там принесеш свої цілопа́лення, і там зробиш усе, що я наказую тобі.
but in the place which Jehovah will choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt-offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.
Але скільки запра́гне душа твоя, будеш різати й будеш їсти м'ясо, за благослове́нням Господа, Бога твого, що його́ дав тобі в усіх брамах твоїх; нечистий і чистий буде їсти його, як са́рну й як о́леня.
Nevertheless, according to all the desire of thy soul thou mayest slay and eat flesh in all thy gates, according to the blessing of Jehovah thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the gazelle, and the hart.
Тільки кро́ви не їстимеш, — на землю ви́ллєш її, як во́ду.
Only, ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.
Не зможеш ти їсти в брамах своїх десятини збіжжя свого, і соку виноградного свого, і оливи своєї, і перворідних худоби своєї великої й худоби своєї дрібно́ї, і всіх обі́тниць своїх, що будеш обіцяти, і добровільних да́рів своїх, і прино́шення своєї руки,
Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy new wine, or of thine oil, or the firstlings of thy kine or of thy sheep, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy voluntary-offerings, nor the heave-offering of thy hand;
бо тільки перед лицем Господа, Бога свого, будеш їсти його в місці, яке вибере Господь, Бог твій, ти, і син твій, і дочка́ твоя, і раб твій, і невільниця твоя, і Леви́т, що в брамах твоїх. І будеш ти радіти перед лицем Господа, Бога свого, усім, до чого доторкнеться рука твоя.
but before Jehovah thy God shalt thou eat them in the place which Jehovah thy God will choose, thou and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy bondman, and thy handmaid, and the Levite that is within thy gates; and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God in all the business of thy hand.
Стережися, щоб не залишив ти Левита по всі дні на землі своїй.
Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite all the days thou shalt be in thy land.
Коли Господь, Бог твій, поширить границю твою, як Він говорив тобі, і ти скажеш: „Нехай я їм м'ясо“, бо бу́де жадати душа твоя їсти м'ясо, то за всім жада́нням душі своєї будеш ти їсти м'ясо.
When Jehovah thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he promised thee, and thou say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh, thou mayest eat flesh, according to all the desire of thy soul.
Коли буде далеке від тебе те місце, що вибере Господь, Бог твій, щоб перебувало там Ім'я́ Його, то заріжеш із худоби своєї великої та з худоби своєї дрібної, що дав Господь тобі, як наказав я тобі, і будеш їсти в брамах своїх усім жада́нням своєї душі.
If the place which Jehovah thy God will choose to set his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt slay of thy kine and of thy sheep which Jehovah hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates according to all the desire of thy soul.
Тільки як їсться са́рну й о́леня, так будеш їсти його, — нечистий та чистий однаково можуть їсти його.
Even as the gazelle and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean alike may eat of them.
Тільки будь обере́жним, щоб не їсти кро́ви, бо кров — вона душа, і ти не будеш їсти душі ра́зом з м'ясом.
Only, be sure that thou eat not the blood; for the blood is the life, and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh;
Не будеш їсти її, — на землю виллєш її, як во́ду.
thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water:
Не будеш їсти її, щоб було́ добре тобі та синам твоїм по тобі, коли робитимеш справедливе в Господніх оча́х.
thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do what is right in the eyes of Jehovah.
Тільки святощі свої, що будуть у тебе, та обі́тниці свої понесеш, і при́йдеш до місця, яке вибере Господь.
But thy hallowed things which thou hast, and what thou hast vowed, thou shalt take, and come to the place which Jehovah will choose;
І принесеш своє ціло́палення, м'ясо та кров, на же́ртівнику Господа, Бога свого, а кров твоїх інших же́ртов буде вилита на же́ртівнику Господа, Бога твого, а м'ясо будеш їсти.
and thou shalt offer thy burnt-offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of Jehovah thy God; and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of Jehovah thy God, and the flesh shalt thou eat.
Виконуй і слухай усі ті слова́, що я наказую тобі, щоб було добре тобі та синам твоїм по тобі навіки, коли будеш робити добре та справедливе в оча́х Господа, Бога свого.
Take heed to hear all these words which I command thee, that it may be well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest what is good and right in the eyes of Jehovah thy God.
Коли Господь, Бог твій, вигубить народи, куди ти входиш, щоб посісти їх перед собою, і посядеш їх, і осядеш у їхньому кра́ї,
Warning against Idolatry
When Jehovah thy God cutteth off from before thee the nations whither thou goest, to take possession of them, and thou hast dispossessed them, and dwellest in their land,

то стережися, щоб не впасти до пастки за ними, коли вони будуть ви́гублені перед тобою, і щоб не шукав ти їхніх богів, говорячи: Як служать ті люди бога́м своїм, то зроблю́ так і я.
take heed to thyself that thou be not ensnared [to follow] after them, after that they are destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
Не зробиш так Господе́ві, Богу своєму; бо всяку гидо́ту, яку Господь знена́видів, робили вони бога́м своїм, бо навіть синів своїх та дочо́к своїх вони палять в огні для богів своїх.
Thou shalt not do so to Jehovah thy God; for every [thing that is] abomination to Jehovah, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters have they burned in the fire to their gods.
