І станеться того дня, коли ви пере́йдете Йорда́н до того кра́ю, що дає тобі Господь, Бог твій, то поставиш собі велике каміння, і пова́пниш їх вапно́м.
When you cross the Jordan River and enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, set up some large stones and coat them with plaster.
І понапи́суєш на них усі слова́ цього Зако́ну, коли пере́йдеш, щоб увійшов ти до того кра́ю, що Господь, Бог твій, дає тобі, край, що тече молоком та медом, як промовляв був Господь, Бог батьків твоїх, до тебе.
Write this whole body of instruction on them when you cross the river to enter the land the LORD your God is giving you — a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your ancestors, promised you.
І станеться, коли ви пере́йдете Йорда́н, поставите те каміння, що я наказую вам сьогодні, на горі Ева́л, і пова́пните їх вапно́м.
When you cross the Jordan, set up these stones at Mount Ebal and coat them with plaster, as I am commanding you today.

“Then build an altar there to the LORD your God, using natural, uncut stones. You must not shape the stones with an iron tool.
З нетесаного камі́ння збудуєш же́ртівника Господа, Бога свого, і принесеш на ньому цілопа́лення Господе́ві, Богові своєму.
Build the altar of uncut stones, and use it to offer burnt offerings to the LORD your God.
І принесеш на жертву мирні жертви, і будеш там їсти, і будеш тішитися перед лицем Господа, Бога свого.
Also sacrifice peace offerings on it, and celebrate by feasting there before the LORD your God.
І напишеш на тих камі́ннях усі слова цього Зако́ну дуже вира́зно“.
You must clearly write all these instructions on the stones coated with plaster.”
І промовляв Мойсей та всі священики-Левити, до всього Ізраїля, говорячи: „Уважай та слухай, Ізраїлю, — ти цього дня став народом Господа, Бога свого.
Then Moses and the Levitical priests addressed all Israel as follows: “O Israel, be quiet and listen! Today you have become the people of the LORD your God.
І будеш ти слу́хатися Господа, Бога свого, і будеш виконувати заповіді Його та постанови Його, що я наказую тобі сьогодні“.
So you must obey the LORD your God by keeping all these commands and decrees that I am giving you today.”
І наказав Мойсей того дня наро́дові, говорячи:
Curses from Mount Ebal
That same day Moses also gave this charge to the people:
„Оці стануть на горі Ґарізі́м, щоб благословляти народ, коли ви пере́йдете Йорда́н: Симео́н, і Леві́й, і Юда, і Іссаха́р, і Йо́сип, і Веніями́н.
“When you cross the Jordan River, the tribes of Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin must stand on Mount Gerizim to proclaim a blessing over the people.
А оці стануть для клятви на горі Ева́л: Руви́м, Ґад, і Аси́р, і Завуло́н, Дан і Нефтали́м.
And the tribes of Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali must stand on Mount Ebal to proclaim a curse.
І відповідять Левити, і скажуть до всіх Ізраїлевих мужів сильним голосом:
“Then the Levites will shout to all the people of Israel:
„Прокля́та люди́на, що зробить бовва́на різаного або литого, гидо́ту для Господа, чин різьба́рських рук, і поставить таємно! І відповість увесь наро́д, та й скаже: амі́нь!
‘Cursed is anyone who carves or casts an idol and secretly sets it up. These idols, the work of craftsmen, are detestable to the LORD.’
And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’

Прокля́тий той, хто легкова́жить свого батька та свою матір! А ввесь народ скаже: амі́нь!
‘Cursed is anyone who dishonors father or mother.’
And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’

Прокля́тий, хто пересуває межу́ свого бли́жнього! А ввесь народ скаже: амі́нь!
‘Cursed is anyone who steals property from a neighbor by moving a boundary marker.’
And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’

Прокля́тий, хто робить блудя́чим сліпого в дорозі! А ввесь народ скаже: амінь!
‘Cursed is anyone who leads a blind person astray on the road.’
And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’

Прокля́тий, хто перекручує право прихо́дька, сироти та вдови! А ввесь народ скаже: амінь!
‘Cursed is anyone who denies justice to foreigners, orphans, or widows.’
And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’

Прокля́тий, хто лягає з жінкою батька свого, бо відкрив він подолка одежі свого батька! А ввесь народ скаже: амінь!
‘Cursed is anyone who has sexual intercourse with one of his father’s wives, for he has violated his father.’
And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’
And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’
Прокля́тий, хто лягає з усяким скотом ! А ввесь народ скаже: амінь!
‘Cursed is anyone who has sexual intercourse with an animal.’
And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’

Прокля́тий, хто лягає з сестрою своєю, дочко́ю свого батька або з дочкою своєї матері! А ввесь народ скаже: амінь!
‘Cursed is anyone who has sexual intercourse with his sister, whether she is the daughter of his father or his mother.’
And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’

‘Cursed is anyone who has sexual intercourse with his mother-in-law.’

‘Cursed is anyone who attacks a neighbor in secret.’
