But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.

Будуть бо люди тоді самолюбні, грошолюбні, зарозумілі, горді, богозневажники, батькам неслухня́ні, невдячні, непобожні,
For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
нелюбовні, запеклі, осу́дливі, нестримливі, жорстокі, нена́висники добра,
unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
зрадники, нахабні, бундю́чні, що більше люблять розкоші, аніж люблять Бога, —
treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
вони мають вигляд благоче́стя, але сили його́ відреклися. Відверта́йсь від таких!
holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
До них бо належать і ті, хто пролазить до хат та зводить жінок, гріхами обтяжених, ведених усякими пожадливостями,
For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses,
що вони за́вжди вчаться, та ніко́ли не можуть прийти до пізна́ння правди.
always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Як Янній та Ямврій протиставилися були Мойсеєві, так і ці протиста́вляться правді, люди зіпсутого розуму, не́уки щодо віри.
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith.
Та більше не матимуть у́спіху, — бо всім виявиться їхній бе́зум, як і з тими було́.
But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes’s and Jambres’s folly was also.
Ти ж пішов услід за мною наукою, поступо́ванням, за́міром, вірою, витрива́лістю, любов'ю, терпеливістю,
Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance,
переслідуваннями та стражда́ннями, що спіткали були мене в Антіохі́ї, в Іконі́ї, у Лі́страх, — такі переслі́дування переніс я, та Госпо́дь від усіх мене визволив.
persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me!
Та й усі, хто хоче жити побожно у Христі Ісусі, — будуть переслідувані.
Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
А люди лихі та дури́світи матимуть у́спіх у злому, зво́дячи й зве́дені бувши.
But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
А ти в тім пробува́й, чого́ тебе на́вчено, і що тобі звірено, ві́даючи тих, від ко́го навчився був ти.
You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them,
І ти знаєш з дити́нства Писа́ння святе, що може зробити тебе мудрим на спасі́ння вірою в Христа Ісуса.
and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Усе Писа́ння Богом на́дхнене, і кори́сне до навча́ння, до докору, до направи, до вихова́ння в праведності,
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
