І сказали йому му́жі Єфремові: „Що́ це за річ зробив ти нам, що не покликав нас, коли йшов воювати з Мідія́ном?“ І вони сильно спереча́лися з ним.

Тоді ефраїмії мовили до Гедеона: “Чому це ти зробив так з нами, що не покликав нас, коли йшов на війну з мідіянами?” І сварилися вони з ним тяжко.

And the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why hast thou served us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites? And they did chide with him sharply. -

Now the Ephraimites asked Gideon, “Why have you treated us like this? Why didn’t you call us when you went to fight Midian?” And they challenged him vigorously. -
