І сказав йому Ілля, промовляючи: Так говорить Господь: Як це, що ти відіслав послів запитати у Ваала-мухи, бога Аккарона? Не так! Ліжко, на яке ти зліг, з нього не зійдеш, бо безсумнівно помреш [3]!

і каже йому: “Так говорить Господь: За те, що ти послав послів питати Ваал-Зевува, екронського бога, — наче б в Ізраїлі не було Бога, щоб про те питати, — не встанеш з ліжка, на яке ліг; ти мусиш умерти.”

І сказав йому (цареві): Так глаголе Господь: За те, що ти послав посли, щоб вони поспитали в Беел-Себула, бога Екронського, — наче б в Ізраїлї не було Бога, щоб питати про слово його, ти не зійдеш із постелї, що лїг на їй, а мусиш умерти. -
Та й сказав до нього: „Так сказав Господь: Тому́, що ти посилав послів, щоб ви́відати від Ваал-Зевува, екронського бога, — ніби в Ізраїлі нема Бога, щоб ви́відати слова́ Його, — тому́ те ло́же, що на нього ти ліг, — не встанеш із нього, бо напевно помреш!“

И сказал ему: так говорит Господь: за то, что ты посылал послов вопрошать Веельзевула, божество Аккаронское, как будто в Израиле нет Бога, чтобы вопрошать о слове Его, — с постели, на которую ты лёг, не сойдёшь с неё, но умрёшь.

And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

He told the king, “This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel for you to consult that you have sent messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!” -
