Веніамін породив Вала, свого первенця, Асвила — другим, Аара — третім,

Genealogy from Benjamin to Saul

And Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,

Ноа — четвертим і Рафу — п’ятим.

Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

Синами Вали були: Адер, Ґира, Авіюд,

And Bela had sons: Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,

Авісуя, Ноома, Ахія,

and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,

Ґира, Софарфак і Оїм.

and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.

Це — сини Аода. Це — володарі родинних ліній тих, які живуть в Ґавеї, і їх переселили в Манахат;

-- And these are the sons of Ehud (these were the chief fathers of the inhabitants of Geba; and they carried them away to Manahath;

Ноома, Ахія і Ґира. Він полонив їх і породив Наану і Ахіхода.

even Naaman, and Ahijah, and Gera; he removed them), and he begot Uzza and Ahihud.

And Shaharaim begot [children] in the land of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.

And of Hushim he begot Abitub, and Elpaal.

Сини Алфаала: Овид, Мессаам, Семмир. Він збудував Оно, Лод та його села.

And the sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misham, and Shemer, who built Ono, and Lod and its dependent villages;

І Веріґу та Саму. Це — володарі родинних ліній тих, які живуть в Еламі (вони прогнали жителів Ґета).

and Beriah, and Shema, who were chief fathers of the inhabitants of Ajalon; they drove away the inhabitants of Gath.

And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,

Завадія, Орир, Одид,

and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder,

Михаїл, Єсфа і Йоха — сини Варіґи.

and Michael, and Jishpah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

Завадія, Мосоллам, Азакій, Авар,

And Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hiski, and Heber,

Ісамарій, Єзлія і Йовав — сини Елфаала.

and Jishmerai, and Jizliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

Якім, Зехрій, Завдій,

And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,

Еліоиней, Салтій, Еліилій,

and Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,

Адея, Варея і Самарат — сини Самая.

and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.

Ісфан, Овид, Елеїл,

And Jishpah, and Eber, and Eliel,

Авадон, Зехрій, Анан,

and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,

Ананія, Амврій, Елам, Анатотія,

and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,

Атін, Єферія і Феліїл — сини Сосика.

and Jiphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

Самсарія, Саарія, Оґотолія,

And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,

Ярасія, Ілія і Зехрій — сини Іраама.

and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

Вони — володарі родинних ліній, володарі згідно зі своїми родоводами. Вони поселилися в Єрусалимі.

These were the chief fathers, according to their generations, principal men; these dwelt in Jerusalem.

А в Ґаваоні поселився батько Ґаваона, ім’я його жінки — Мааха.

And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; and his wife's name was Maachah.

Її син-первенець — Авадон, а потім Сур, Кіс, Ваал, Надав, Нир,

And his son, the firstborn, was Abdon; and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,

Ґедур, його брат, Захур і Макалот.

and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.

Макалот породив Семау. Вони поселилися напроти своїх братів у Єрусалимі зі своїми братами.

And Mikloth begot Shimeah. And these also dwelt beside their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren.

Genealogy from King Saul

And Ner begot Kish; and Kish begot Saul; and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

Сини Йонатана: Меріваал. І Меріваал породив Міхія.

And the son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal; and Merib-Baal begot Micah.

Сини Міхії: Фітон, Мелхил, Терей і Ахаз.

And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.

Ахаз породив Йояда, Йояд породив Ґалемата, Асмота і Замврія, Замврій породив Месу.

And Ahaz begot Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza;

Меса породив Ваану. Рафея — його син, Еласа — його син, Есил — його син.

and Moza begot Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

В Есила — шестеро синів, ось це їхні імена: Езрікам, його первенець, Ізмаїл, Сарея, Авдія і Анан. Усі вони є синами Есила.

And Azel had six sons, and these are their names: Azrikam, Bochru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; all these were sons of Azel.

Сини Асила, його брата: Елам, його первенець, Яіс — другий, Еліфалет — третій.

And the sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

Сини Елама були мужами, могутніми силою, які натягали лука і множили синів та внуків, — сто п’ятдесят. Усі вони — із синів Веніаміна.

And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers; and they had many sons, and sons' sons, a hundred and fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
