A psalm of David.

Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.

Господи, звеличу Тебе, бо Ти мене підняв і моїм ворогам не дав насміятися наді мною.

Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of hisa holiness.

Господи, Боже мій, я закликав до Тебе, і Ти зцілив мене.

The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.

Господи, Ти вивів мою душу з аду, — Ти врятував мене з-поміж тих, які сходять у могилу.

The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is majestic.

Співайте Господу, праведні Його, прославляйте пам’ять Його святині.

The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

Адже гнів у спалаху Його люті, а життя — у Його волі: ввечері вселиться плач, а на ранок — радість.

He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
Sirionb like a young wild ox.

Я сказав у своєму добробуті: Повік не захитаюся!

The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.

Господи, якщо Твоя воля, дай силу моїй красі. Ти ж відвернув Своє обличчя, — і я стривожився.

The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.

Господи, я кликатиму до Тебе і помолюся до мого Бога.

The voice of the Lord twists the oaksc
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

Яка користь від моєї крові, коли я закінчу зотлінням? Хіба буде прах прославляти Тебе, чи проголошуватиме він Твою правду?

The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
the Lord is enthroned as King forever.

Господь почув і помилував мене, Господь став моїм помічником.

The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace.
