Господи, повік оспівуватиму Твоє милосердя — з роду в рід своїми устами буду сповіщати Твою правду.
Let my prayer come before thee; incline thine ear unto my cry.
Адже Ти сказав: Навіки буде встановлене милосердя. На небесах буде забезпечена Твоя правда.
For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draweth nigh to Sheol.
Я уклав завіт зі Своїми вибранцями, поклявся Своєму рабові Давидові:
I am reckoned with them that go down into the pit; I am as a man that hath no strength:

Prostrate among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave; whom thou rememberest no more, and who are cut off from thy hand.
Небеса прославлятимуть Твої дивовижні діла, Господи, і Твою правду в зібранні святих.
Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in dark places, in the deeps.
Бо хто на хмарах зрівняється з Господом і хто між Божими синами уподібниться до Господа?
Thy fury lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted [me] with all thy waves. Selah.
Бога прославляють на раді святих, Він — могутній і грізний — понад усіх, хто оточує Його.
Thou hast put my familiar friends far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
Господи, Боже сил, хто подібний до Тебе? Ти, Господи, сильний, Твоя правда — довкола Тебе.
Mine eye consumeth by reason of affliction. Upon thee, Jehovah, have I called every day; I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
Ти пануєш над силою моря, Ти втихомирюєш його розбурхані хвилі.
Wilt thou do wonders to the dead? shall the shades arise and praise thee? Selah.
Ти впокорив гордого, наче побитого, і Своєю могутньою рукою розсіяв Своїх ворогів.
Shall thy loving-kindness be declared in the grave? thy faithfulness in Destruction?
Твої небеса і земля — Твоя. Ти заснував Усесвіт і все, що наповняє його.
Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
Ти створив північ і моря; Фавор і Ермон радітимуть Твоїм Ім’ям.
But as for me, Jehovah, I cry unto thee, and in the morning my prayer cometh before thee.
У Тебе могутня рука. Нехай переможною буде Твоя рука, нехай високо буде піднята Твоя правиця!
Why, O Jehovah, castest thou off my soul? [why] hidest thou thy face from me?
Праведність і правосуддя — основа Твого престолу, милосердя і правда йтимуть перед Твоїм обличчям.
I am afflicted and expiring from my youth up; I suffer thy terrors, [and] I am distracted.
Блаженний народ, який знає переможний клич! Господи, вони ходитимуть у сяйві Твого обличчя.
Thy fierce anger hath gone over me; thy terrors have brought me to nought:
Твоїм Іменем вони радітимуть увесь день, і Твоєю правдою вони будуть звеличені.
They have surrounded me all the day like water; they have compassed me about together.
