Горе тим, хто спричиняє вам страждання, та ніхто вас не робить страждальцями, і зрадник вас не зраджує. Підуть геть ті, хто зневажає, і передані будуть, і змаліють, як міль на одязі.
The Lord is Exalted
Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and that dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! When thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; when thou shalt make an end of dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

Господи, помилуй нас, бо на Тебе ми поклали надію. Насіння неслухняних стало загибеллю, а наше спасіння — в час смутку.
Jehovah, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be their arm every morning, yea, our salvation in the time of trouble.
Через голос Твого страху народи жахнулися від Твого страху, і народи були розсіяні.
At the noise of the tumult the peoples fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
А тепер зберуться ваші полонені, від малого до великого. Так, наче хто збирає сарану, так насміються з вас.
And your spoil shall be gathered [like] the gathering of the caterpillar: as the running of locusts shall they run upon it.
Святий Бог, Котрий живе на висотах, Сіон наповнився судом і праведністю.
Jehovah is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with justice and righteousness;
За законом передані будуть, наше спасіння в скарбах, там мудрість, умілість і побожність до Господа. Це — скарби праведності.
and he shall be the stability of thy times, the riches of salvation, wisdom and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah shall be your treasure.
А ось від вашого страху вони злякаються. Ті, кого ви боялися, боятимуться вас. Адже будуть послані посланці, які просять миру, які гірко плачуть, просячи миру.
Behold, their valiant ones cry without; the messengers of peace weep bitterly.
Бо їхні дороги будуть спустошені. Спинився страх народів, і їхній завіт забирається, і не вважатимете їх за людей.
The highways are desolate, the wayfaring man ceaseth. He hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
Заплакала земля, засоромився Ліван, Сарон став мочаром. Явною буде Галілея і Кармил.
The land mourneth, it languisheth; Lebanon is ashamed, is withered; the Sharon is become as a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped.
Тепер підіймуся, — говорить Господь, — тепер прославлюся, тепер звеличуся.
Now will I arise, saith Jehovah; now will I be exalted, now will I lift up myself.
Тепер побачите, тепер почуєте. Марна буде сила їхнього духу, вогонь вас пожирає.
Ye shall conceive dry grass, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath shall devour you [as] fire.
І народи будуть спалені, як терня спустошене і спалене в полі.
And the peoples shall be [as] burnings of lime, [as] thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
Почують ті, хто далеко, те, що Я зробив, пізнають Мою силу ті, які наближаються.
Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
Відійшли ті беззаконні, які в Сіоні, тремтіння охопить безбожних. Хто вам сповістить, що горить вогонь? Хто вам сповістить вічне місце?
The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling hath surprised the hypocrites: Who among us shall dwell with the consuming fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting flames?
Хто ходить у праведності, хто говорить про правильну дорогу, хто ненавидить беззаконня та неправедність і відвертає руки від дарів, хто закриває вуха, щоб не почути суду крові, хто примружує очі, щоб не побачити беззаконня,
-- He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from taking hold of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil:
той житиме у високій печері на міцній скелі. Йому дасться хліб, і його вода — певна.
he shall dwell on high, the fortresses of the rocks shall be his high retreat; bread shall be given him, his water shall be sure.
Побачите царя зі славою, і ваші очі побачать землю здалека.
Thine eyes shall see the King in his beauty; they shall behold the land that is far off.
Ваша душа навчиться страху. Де є писарі? Де є радники? Де є той, хто рахує тих, які виховуються,
Thy heart shall meditate on terror: Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
малий і великий народ? З яким не радилися, і не знав народ з глибоким голосом, щоб не чув осоружний народ, і немає розуму в того, хто слухає.
Thou shalt no more see the fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst comprehend, of a stammering tongue that cannot be understood.
Ось місто Сіон, наше спасіння! Твої очі побачать Єрусалим, багате місто, намети, які не захитаються, і не зрушаться кілки його намету на вічні часи, і його шнури не порвуться.
Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tent that shall not be removed, the stakes whereof shall never be pulled up, neither shall any of its cords be broken;
Бо для вас — велике Ім’я Господа. Місце для вас буде, ріки широкі та розлогі рови. Ти не підеш цією дорогою, і не піде корабель, що пливе.
but there Jehovah is unto us glorious, -- a place of rivers, of broad streams: no galley with oars shall go there, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
Адже мій Бог — великий, мене Господь не мине. Суддя наш — Господь, володар наш — Господь, цар наш — Господь, Він нас врятує!
For Jehovah is our judge, Jehovah, our lawgiver, Jehovah, our king: he will save us.
Порвалися твої шнури, бо не мали сили. Твоя щогла похилилася, — вона не розпустить вітрил. Не підніме знак, аж доки не буде віддана на грабунок. Тому численні кульгаві грабуватимуть.
Thy tacklings are loosed; they strengthen not the socket of their mast, they cannot spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
